Man Chui

Waitresses were rude and were rushing us to order and eat. They also had the nerve to ask us how much we would tip them when paying for the bill, first time I've been asked this question in a restaurant.

Second time there, this experience was worse than the last, will never go back and do not recommend it.

Very over priced, and also unreasonable, if you want to swap an item on a platter they charge you and also we asked for two extra pancakes and we got charged :-/.

Have been eating there for many years, but when our son asked for a special family dinner before his marriage last year we asked the manager (Denis Wong) what he could do. He sat us down, talked us through all the possibilities and stressed that if we were eating off-menu he would need a day or so longer to buy particular items such as the organic velvet chicken needed for a speciality dish.

We ended up with more courses than I can remember - though the steamed lobster with ginger was exquisite! Denis and the staff were really excited to be doing someting different, and organised not only the menu but champagne (a novelty for them) and flowers delivered to the table.

The dinner was an authentic Chinese wedding feast, with each component representing an element of the marriage-to-be. All-in-all, a wonderful experience.

I won't say what it cost, but it was far less than we were expecting! A truly memorable evening, and Man Chui is strongly recommended whatever the occasion.

I have been going to this resturant for over 10 years. Quality of food and service is excellent together with a wide variety of food for vegetarians as well as non veg.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was 3 years old. The vegitarian seletion is fantastic. I have taken many there, from what I have been told the non-vegitarian, is remarkable.

It most definatly isn't the cheapest of all restaurants, but I can assure you it is worth every penny.
