Man Chui

My family and I have been visiting Man Chui in Finchley Central for 2 years now and I can honestly say that the quality has improved with time. There has not been a single occasion when I have felt that service was below par in any aspect.
The prices have been fairly consistent throughout the years with a continously excellent quality of dinning been delivered. They are reasonable considering the quality of food and service.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially towards our daughter so the restaurant is very child-friendly as well.
They also do takeaway (collection & delivery), the quality & quantity of which has been the same as the one that you receive when you dine in the restaurant.
Highly recommended!

man chui chinese restaurant in central finchley at ballards lane is definately our favourite place, modern and smart, with a cosy and friendly atmosphere, exellent service, and the most delicious food, there are also the various fixed menus you can choose from which give you the chance to taste a bit of everything, a restaurant for couples, friends, families, you cant go wrong. . .we love it. . .morena & alfie levy.

Without doubt my favourite Chinese restaurant in London. Have been to all branches and they all offer the smae fantastic food. Been visiting Man Chui for over 10 years. The Beancurd in Piquant Garlic Sauce would be my last meal if I had to pick one! Gorgeous.
The only bad thing:
I've moved to the South Coast!
Still venture up to Finchley every now and then though.
Highly recommended.

I implore anyone reading this to ignore V Patels reviews, this restaurant is one of the very best in london for Chinese food. Man Chui is not the cheapest restaurant around but the quality of food, ambience and friendliness more than make up for it. My family have been going here for years and none of us have ever had a bad experience here. One of my sisters is vegan and this place is very accomodating for vegetarians and vegans, wide selection of delicious non meat dishes are available.
For starters their soups cannot be beat, especially the Hot and Sour soup.
The crispy peking duck is a favourite of mine. Very plentiful and the taste is perfect, (i have asked for extra pancakes several times and have never once been charged), a true winner particularly if you are dining with several people . Their shredded beef in chili is amazing and does not dissapoint by being too sweet or crunchy as you often get with other Chinese places in town. I also strongly reccomend the Szechuan king prawns for seafood lovers.
Staff are always extremely friendly, very quick service, never felt rushed to leave after finishing a meal, the food is always amazing I enjoy trying something different on their menu each time and I have never been dissappointed once.
I reccomend this restaurant to everyone it is well worth the journey if you are not from the area.
to book a table for Friday and Saturday nights.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years, ever since my family moved to finchley. The food is wonderful. My parents are vegetarian, and my brother is vegan; I'm the only meat eater, however Man Chui caters well for all of us. They have a huge vegetarian variety including a large selection of mock meats (made from gluten).
The staff are lovely, and so friendly - we always leave with a smile on our faces (which isn't just due to the free liquer we're presented with at the end of the meal!).

My partner and I have a soft spot for this restaurant and return on a very frequent basis! The service is second to none, and the menu is diverse, catering for everyone including vegetarians. You could not ask for anything more in an authetic family-run Chinese restaurant and would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone who enjoys Chinese food.

Waitresses were rude and were rushing us to order and eat. They also had the nerve to ask us how much we would tip them when paying for the bill, first time I've been asked this question in a restaurant.
Second time there, this experience was worse than the last, will never go back and do not recommend it.
Very over priced, and also unreasonable, if you want to swap an item on a platter they charge you and also we asked for two extra pancakes and we got charged :-/.
