Mr Man Vegetarian Chinese

This retaurant is lovely as it is great for vegetarians and vegans as it is completely meat and dairy free.

The best for me is sweet and sour 'chicken' (obviously not chicken) as it is so light and tasty. If you do eat meat I guarentee you will prefer this one than the meat version.

And the steak with pepper sauce is also great.

The staff are so polite and helpful and on hand with reccomendations.

The atmosphere is peaceful and it generally has couples seated. It is clean, relaxed and friendly.

They also do a sunday buffet so go and try them out.

I last went here years ago when it was Chai's. Having heard good things about Mr Man and loving chinese food I decided to pay a visit.

I'm vege but dragged along the gf who is a committed meat eater, and we both absolutely loved it.

The food is very tasty, cheap and the buffet is kept well stocked. The staff were friendly and efficient and there certainly weren't any 12 year olds working there.

I loved the springrolls and fake meat in blackpepper sauce was lovely. The gf really liked the salt and pepper potatoes as well. I'm sorry to be rambling a little but I honestly cannot praise this place highly enough. We were both stuffed and between us had two buffets and 3 drinks and yet the bill came to only £10.10! When a basic pizza hut buffet is coming to £15 for two, this makes Mr Man look like brilliant value.

It is around a 45minute drive but less then 2 weeks after our visit we have already planned to return next week!

This is an excellent place to eat. Portions are good, food is tasty and there is lots of choice. Staff were polite and service was v good.

This restaurant is delicious! The duck is fantastic. The set meals are great value for money! if you are a vegetarian i really recommend this place!

Having read some of the negative reviews by some about a 12yr boy serving food makes me question the authenticity of the review.

As I have been eating here for many years, The food, service and value is fantastic.

This restuarant before was called Chai and had different managment.

Chai was ok but not great, Mr Man is great. I took my father in law who hates all things vegetarian, he loved the food.

It now a family run business, and in all my years I have never seen any male waiters let alone a 12yr old boy.

Dont let some hater influence you, it is highly recommended!!

this is a fantastic restaurant. i have no idea what the 3 comments below are trying to say but IGNORE THEM COMPLETELY. i have been going with my parents for the last 2 years and now they have moved abroad i am still going to make the 1 hour trip from dartford to taste the glorious food. easily the best vegetarian chinese food in london. its not posh surroundings but then again you're not paying posh prices. the staff are extremely polite and friendly. i suggest you turn up and let the food do the talking... especailly recommend the tom yau soup and crispy duck! aaaahh... !

sorry about the comment below, its just some chinese guy covering up how bad the place is. i was served buy a 12 yrold kid who kept on tripping over. he spillt my food on my friends lap and it was the wrong order!!!! this place is soooo rubbish!!!! DONT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS A WASTE OF TIME AD MONEY!!!!!!!!!

As we all know there are Vegetarian food places springing up everywhere. I myself have enjoyed this style of food for years as a nice change from the usual. I would have to say that this is without a doubt the best vegetarian food I have ever had the pleasure of eating in England. The dishes are creative with a wide selection of choice and above all not greasy and oily as you find in many of the other Vegetarian food places. The staff are friendly and curtious at all times and the prices for the quality of the food is definitely value for money. The surroundings are not fancy but they are comfortable and I would recommend it for a quite dinner or a large group going for a meal.
