I've eaten here three times now, and each time it's been a really wonderful eating experience. It's long been said there are no good Mexican restaurants in London, but El Panzon proves that's no longer true. The portions are huge, and made with quality ingredients. Fresh salsa, fresh guacamole, and quite a variety of peppers depending on the dish. The menu is quite varied, although it's hard to go beyond the standards (nachos, tacos, burritos) because they're done so well.
The environment is nothing special: it's still foremost a pub, not a restaurant. Children are not admitted but I think families can probably sit outside if the weather is nice.
They also do weekend breakfasts (12-5)& a Sunday Latin roast. Local deliveries & takeaway as well.

This is absolutely the best Mexican food in London. We went last night to sample their new expanded menu and it absolutely blew me away. We have tried most of the Mexican places in town and often they are horrible and a couple of times I have come away thinking they were alright, but I can cook better Mexican at home. For the first time I have to admit that this is better than my own cooking. The ingredients are part of the winning formula. Apparently they are the UK's largest consumers of tomatillos and clearly understand that not just any old chilli will do in a dish. I love this place and can't wait to go again.
