The pizza is really good!!

We reccomand the "pizza al metro" which is really napoli-style!

Friendly people and the best pizza in London (so far).

You have to book in advance, often it is overcrowded and noisy.

Upstairs is better than downstairs.

This is one of my favourite little Italian restaurants in London. The food is always great, the staff friendly and attentive, and there's always a good buzz no matter what day you go. And so reasonably priced too!

FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC.

I have been there about 6 months ago for the first time and been back at least once per month since!

The pizza is fantastic, the meter pizza is really nice to share with friends but even all their other stuff is really, really great - my favourite will have to be the aubergine involtini and the octopus salad!

Service is fast and friendly!

Have been there with Italian friends who love this restaurant as well, great food, great quality, great price!

The pizza is excellent, good dough, fresj ingredinets, authentic flavours, and very tasty and they have great pizza options with regards to toppings as well as sizes and shapes (ie 1 meter pizza, rolls etc.)

Fabulous goes only a short way to describe this restruant. Went here for a friends birthday and i give 10 out of 10 for food, service (yummy waiters!) and cost we where there for at least 3 hours drinking and eating and with tip it came to £25 each...not bad for a London restruant.

enjoy. xx

We were taken there by our italian colleague, Francesco. We had a lot of fantastic food, but the most important was that we had fun with the stuff, who we have to praise for their service. We had the "pizza al metro". We had a lot of beer and wine and ended it up with limoncello. All these in a reasonable price. Book in advance is recommended.

I was first taken here years ago by my father who used to go ther every lunchtime before he retired. He worked around the corner in Wardour St so it was very convenient. I've been coming here ever since, for the amazing food, atmosphere and entertaining staff.

I recently booked 23 people for my wife's birthday on a Saturday night. The place was packed and there was rapidly a queue forming outside, but the food was cooked to perfection, prepared and delivered with just the right amount of time for before and between courses.

All present had a starter and a main course, we drank gallons of wine and it all came in at under £30 a head, so very reasonably priced to boot. I think a few our friends went away thinking they had just found a gem in the heart of the West End.

Being from Naples, I have always struggled to even eat a pizza abroad. I have to say that, although still not being at the level of the best italian pizza in Naples, I must have had one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten abroad (and probably out of Nsples). Prices are very good and comparable to a pizza in Naples (given the cost of life difference).

Antipasti were good too. Service was good and cheerful.

I haven't given a great look to the wine list as I prefer to eat pizza with beer (like it's usually done, to answer a previous reviewer). Will go back.

My ex told me to try this place. He being Sardinian and a cook, I trusted his judgement, and he was not wrong. Restaurant full of Italians - not many English! V good food, and pretty much authentic. Great pizza, made and cooked in the proper way. Delicious. Word has obviously got round - there was not a spare seat in the place all night. Service admittedly a bit haphazard, but we didn't really mind. Sit downstairs to watch pizziaioli making your dinner, and have a chat and a drink - it's a bit quieter than upstairs. I'll certainly be going again. Recommended.

As an anglo-italian I feel so at home in this restaurant. The food is very good and well priced. Watching the pizzas made in the wood oven is fascinating and the staff are expert at preparing and cooking so quickly to perfection especially after a days shopping and when a hungry tummy can't wait too long. We now only go there after a trip to London. Been there 5 times now and taken family there to show them "our" restaurant!
