Ko Gu Ryo

First visited this place the week it opened. The thing which was most obvious then, and still is now, is that the owners wanted to use the best ingredients to produce the best examples of Korean food. For them, it is a labour of love.

Excellent and friendly service, good advice to drive you through the menu, the freshest of ingredients wonderfully cooked, a lovely atmosphere... it's hard to find any fault in the place...except that too many other people (Korean and British) now know about my secret... but definitely 10/10.

We love this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a friend, and so having fallen in love with Korean food in Seoul, we went along to try Ko Gu Ryo in Staines. The food is fantastic, and the owners are so friendly and helpful. It was good value for money, too. I would recommend this restaurant without hestitation.

We love this place. We discovered it one night by accident... just walking past. I wanted to be adventurous and try a type of food we hadn't tried before - so having never been to a Korean we went in.

We have been back regularly since. The staff are so helpful... take thier advice about combinations of dishes, and how much is enough... they have never let us order too much or too little. Everything on the menu is delicious. The prices are very reasonable, the quality of the food is fantastic. There are always Asian people eating at this restaurant so must be really authentic cuisine.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! It is just great!

Go there without hesitation... good food, very good service and atmosphere, and authentic I guess, according to the number of coreean customer when we were there with my wife.

This is a very good restaurant with a nice environment and delicious food, the only problem is the price is a bit expensive for a student like me, but it worth to recommending!

This hidden gem is Staine's best kept secret. The food is fresh, authentic, seasoned perfectly, and generously portioned. The service, friendly and accommodating, is outstanding. Don't skip dessert! I look forward to returning again and again.
