The Burgershack

A bit of a disspointment, really. Slightly above average food, but poor service. Firstly the staff were huddled together by the bar leaving us standing around waiting to be greeted, let alone seated, our waiter was friendly enough, but was then sent to paint the display boards leaving us with who we thought was the manageress, who seemed completely incapable of a smile. Perhaps theyf were having an "off" evening, but that's still no excuse to make customers feel uneasy. Doubt I'll be going back.

the service, food, everything were just perfect for me and my companion. the staff were very friendly and so on. i recommend this place to anyone in search of burgers and such in london, but who don't wanna go to mcdonald's, kfc, bk etc..

I happen to think the burgershack in Leicester Square is well managed. Not only is the food usually very good, it is obvious that the staff are well aware of the importance of good customer service. They seem well informed about the menu and have no problem in suggesting the likes of "fish & Chips with mushy peas."

If I were to go their and have a bad experience within reason, I would definately go back because I'm usually well looked after everytime I visit whether alone, with co-workers or friends.

I was certainly too fast with my previous review. Went back to The Burgershack last week and it wasn't pleasant at all. After having to change my order twice (no rocket salad for salads and no mushrooms for mushroom burgers which waiters didn't seem to be informed about), I ended up getting tuna salad with no tuna (I'm vegetarian). Then I received the bill with the full amount for tuna salad ("we can't change the price"). My boyfriend has ordered a meal deal but got charged everything separately which of course made no deal at all ("this offer is valid until 5pm" but the staff didn't warn him about it while he was ordering).

The staff seemed to be very annoyed when I asked for a discount and spent another 10-15 min talking to a manager.

Very poor service.

The New one in Leicester Square is a much needed addition to the area. They serve up some really good burgers and the staff are very efficient.

I crave a decent burger once in a while and they do fill the gap! A bit on the pricey side but the atmosphere and service made up for it.

I went to London for the weekend and went to Burgershack because it was recommended to my by a family member.

The food was really good, one of the best burgers I've tasted in my life. I had a bacon cheeseburger that was perfectly coocked and my friend had a cheeseburger which was also very good. We shared an order of chips, they were perfecly cooked and made from real potatoes, not mashed potatoes.

The service there was ok, I don't mind ordering and paying at the counter, as it gives freedom to leave when I want to leave instead of having to wait for the waiter to bring the bill etc.

I go to Burgershack almost every week; the food is always very, very good and the guys there are fantastic.

And the music makes you go back to work in a great mood!

I found the burger was ok but undercooked.However, i found the service great and unusual You first take a seat then when you are ready to order, you go to the bar, tell them which table you're seated at,order and pay. Then they bring the food to you. Cool.

You also have a view of the kitchen and the cooks. The music is great and no one rushes you.
