I think the last reviewer must've gone here with cotton wool in their mouth and with their eyes and ears somewhere else. I've been going to Uffizzi for about 7 years on and off and I've never had a bad meal. The garlic bread is to die for, and whether you love pizza, pasta or fish and meat dishes, there's something for everyone and it all tastes great. The staff are really friendly and will accommodate you if you fancy something that differs slightly from the menu. There's always a great atmosphere - on a Friday and Saturday it can be more of a party feel, especially if there are large groups dining. They have live music (sometimes a duo who are great and sometimes a girl singer who's fab too!) and a dancefloor if people want to get up and boogie to work off all the food! For a quieter night out, go during the week or earlier at the weekend. All in all I'd recommend it to anyone for a great value, top-notch Italian night out.

We’ve been regularly going to the Uffizzi on the Lea Bridge Road for the past few years and just wanted to say what a super little Italian restaurant it is! The food has always been fantastic, exceptional value and the service excellent and very friendly too.

Last time we went, we knew what we were going to order as we looked at their online menu at www.uffizzi.co.uk, the site is so well designed and easy to use that even I managed to do our booking online! The Frutti Di Mare was delicious, perhaps the best seafood in London along with the best Pizza! What more can I say, what more could you ask for!

We live 5 minutes walk away from Ufizzi and that couldn't be more convenient! The menu is both versatile and extensive, plenty of choice for everyone. If you are vegen or veggie they would be more than happy to modify certain dishes to suit your needs. As large as the menu is I am guilty of choosing the same dish everytime.. pizza!! Time Out were right in saying its the best in London. The garic bread and olives to start are to die for, and you can even watch the chef cook your pizza right infront of you.

The staff are friendly and unobtrusive, and the atmosphere is lovely. Would recommend this little gem in the East End to anyone.

An excellent cheap little eaterie! The food is always fresh and fabulously cooked, the staff always efficient and friendly. It can get noisy when there are large parties, so perhaps best to go early evening before it gets too busy. We've never had a bad meal there and for t wo courses with wine for two people, allow around £35 including tip.

Treat yourself!

We have been going to Uffizzi for over two years now and as regulars, I can honestly say that the food is always great and never lets you down. It is also great value for money. The average price, as stated is incorrect, it is much more reasonable than that.

If you have not yet tried it, you must put it next on your list!

I like the Elvis outside this restaurant but it is out in the back now, my little brother Elijah is scared of it we take him to see it.

We love the whitebait and the childrens' pizzas they are massive, so we always take some home for lunch the next day. My daddy likes the frutti de la mare spaghetti and I eat all his mussels.

It the best restaurant because you can be quite noisy and watch the pizzas being made.

Nice food and good price (£40 for two courses and two drinks each). However, they should consider making the restaurant 'no smoking'; or at least whilst they serve food. A couple sat next to us chain smoking throughout their meal and the restaurant is too small for this not to be intrusive. However, the food and staff were nice.

Uffizzi restaurant is the best kept secret in the East End. The food is always excellent, the service friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Time Out said 'Best Pizza In London' and they were right. The new refurbishment looks great. Well done chaps
