I moved to the City from Scotland and all it had was busy restaurants where you couldn't enjoy a nice evening out.

Hey Presto! Then I find this chilled out lounge with good food and service to match! It is soo different to what is on offer in the area, let's see... curry! That's all they have in Brick Lane and most other different joints (like Italian) are priced out for what they offer.

So, my travels to Turkey and Egypt made me aware of the type of food LL has to offer and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and texture of the food.

Great value for money, spent £45 on 3 courses and soft drinks for two (I was driving back to the suburbs!).

All in all a good find and am sure they'll do well.

3 of us ate very well. 2 courses, fruit juice and complimentary pastries. The puree'd and smoked aubergine with sesame was very savoury! As was the Tabbouleh with mint and coriander. The roast boneless baby chicken was moist and plentiful. All in, it came to £61 (just about 20 each!) how good is that? Compared to Brick Lane, it was excellent. God, how I hated the touts in Brick Lane. That is what drove us to Lebanese Lounge. Only one minor point though, the staff needs to loosen up and smile a bit. They have nothing to worry about. I will return and give them smiley lessons!

Great atmosphere, food and service. It really is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of the City and the Sunday Brick Lane markets.

No need to visit Edgware Road if you feel like something different - especiallt the Arabic Lounge, nothing like it in London let alone the curry mile of Brick Lane.

Went there will a couple of friends and enjoyed the Shisha which is very good along with the food - beats many Lebanese outlets on the presentation and value.

Go there before if becomes too popular!
