Went there for Valentines on 14th Feb 2008..... the worst choice. Not a soul in sight, the staff were very disinterested, the waiter convinced us to take the platter for 2, which cost £30, so not bad value, but the food was luke warm, chicken dry...... put it this way I have had better Lebanese food before, doesn't do it justice! Would not recommend at all.

The worst value for money in London. I can't believe how bad the service and quality of food was here. Definitely stick to the curries in this neighborhood.

The experience I had at the lebanese lounge was awful, the atmosphere was cold the starters were OK and the main meal was less than average, the chicken dry and the fish overcooked, and to be honest the sauces were just basic tomato base with nothing special about it.
To top the night off we were to pay and they said their credit card machine had run out of paper rolls, which is not only poor planning but they didn't even mention this to us when we came in, which meant I wandered some 20 mins out on a cold night to the high street to find cash.
The waiter was arrogant and did not even think there was a problem with not telling us about the credit card issue and then pointed out we hadn't even tipped.
All in all a shocking experience.

Went there last Friday, food was excellent, service was quick eventhough we felt pushed a little bit to buy full size bottle of Wine and Water when we only wanted half bottles., but overall an excellent restaurant, we will go back there !

I have visited the area alot over many years, having tried many lovely indian resturants in the heart of brick lane, but come across a lovely resturant in a discrete corner called the lebanese lounge. I don't usually go for alternatives but wanted to try something different and was astonished at the friendly atmosphere in the lounge. I liked the modern traditional look and the sheesha room was very cumfortable. The food was lovely and was not to harsh on the pallet. Healthy, fresh, everything was nice and the pricing was appropriate for what you got. I cannot fault the service or the establishment. I would recommend the venue to anyone. thumbs up all the way.

Recommended this place based on a friends recommendation & reading the reviews here to a group of friends on a Saturday night. Just back from that evening now & have to say that the food was great. Bit strange that the place was so empty considering the heaving hectic hustle & bustle of Brick Lane. I guess everybody was out for a curry... Whole heartedly recommend it.

Lebanese Lounge is the best restaurant in London. The food is amazing, especially the Fatoush. I eat there at least three times a week. The owner is gracious and friendly. He makes you feel as if you are being welcomed into his home.
The food comes in large portions for a small price. Everything is good there but I specifically recommend the fatoush salad, sojouk sausages and the hommos with lamb. The falafel are also some of the best I have had.
The ambience is good. Choose the Arabic Lounge for more informal parties. It is good for large groups.
One of the best things about this restaurant is that they never rush you out and are extremely attentive. Once you become a regular, the owner even comes over to chat if you want!
I hope you try the Lebanese Lounge!

We ate in the restaurant on a Friday evening. The restaurant was not at all busy and food was excellent. Three of us ate a mixture of starters and one main meal was shared between us. The quality of the meats is just fantastic.
Total bill was under £45.
If you haven't tried lebanese food before then this place is a must.
Internal decor is superb, dimly lit with splashes of pinks and blues illuminating the walls creates for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The main restaurant is spacious and large.
This place is hard to find, you can easily walk right past but it's worth visiting. We were taken there by someone that lived in the area for many years and knew of its existence.
This is restaurant is definitely a hidden gem and I shall be going back again sometime soon.

I moved to the City from Scotland and all it had was busy restaurants where you couldn't enjoy a nice evening out.
Hey Presto! Then I find this chilled out lounge with good food and service to match! It is soo different to what is on offer in the area, let's see... curry! That's all they have in Brick Lane and most other different joints (like Italian) are priced out for what they offer.
So, my travels to Turkey and Egypt made me aware of the type of food LL has to offer and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and texture of the food.
Great value for money, spent £45 on 3 courses and soft drinks for two (I was driving back to the suburbs!).
All in all a good find and am sure they'll do well.

3 of us ate very well. 2 courses, fruit juice and complimentary pastries. The puree'd and smoked aubergine with sesame was very savoury! As was the Tabbouleh with mint and coriander. The roast boneless baby chicken was moist and plentiful. All in, it came to £61 (just about 20 each!) how good is that? Compared to Brick Lane, it was excellent. God, how I hated the touts in Brick Lane. That is what drove us to Lebanese Lounge. Only one minor point though, the staff needs to loosen up and smile a bit. They have nothing to worry about. I will return and give them smiley lessons!
