recently had a wedding part there in main hall for 200 people, they are bit pricey but hall was lovely and the food was great. its owned by afghans and we had a pakistan (me the groom) and afghan (my wife) food mix and it was amazing.
very enjoyable for all and we had no complaints.
I would highly recomend it.
i think they just needs to work out a nice entrance as its pretty shabby but the hall itself is top class..

Hello, we (six of us) were at Burkhara on 17th July 2007 and the starters were so awful that we decided not to stay for main meal. We order Fish, Paneer, Lamb for starter and all of the dishes were cold. Lamb wasn't fresh and wasn't chewable at all. All food tasted as it had been in the fridge, cooked early in the day or even earlier and just heated in the Microwave and served. Trust me, it is so not worth it. The food is pricey and its not even worth a visit.

One of the better Indian restaurants outside central London. Good food and friendly service on the whole. Also makes the effort of hiring good musicians rather than space filling entertainers. The venue is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The portions are sizeable and plenty for a group of 4. Enjoyable experience all round.

Bukhara need to have there name changed as i only went there because of the name sake restaurant in Dehli. All I can say is rubbish, this place had the location and promise to be a big hit, but all i would say is there are much better locally and don't waste your money here.

We booked this restaurant for a party of 20, based on good reviews of the food, and photos of the interior, a conservatory style building, perfect for a summer evening, we thought. A few days before our event, we visited it to confirm, only to be told that parties larger than 10 would be seated indoors instead, in a dark windowless room that looks like the backroom of a pub. NOT nice at all. We cancelled our booking. Fortunately, we hadn't paid any deposit, as we would have lost it.
