Mirch Masaleh

I moved down from North West London and have been living in the area for a couple of years now. Great area, but I have been bemoaning the lack of decent curry houses... until now.

I ordered a takeaway from them on Thursday night. It was so good I had to order another takeaway on the Friday night. I'm now counting the days until I can have another takeaway. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this gem on my doorstep.

The food is simply sensational. It ranks up in the very top Indian restaurants I've eaten at in the whole of London. I've only tried a few dishes but I can't wait to try more. The menu is great (great vegetarian options) and the prices incredibly good for the quality of food.

I can't recommend the food highly enough, and I'm looking forward to visiting the restaurant.

Amazing food, the atmosphere was ok, a little quiet and not that cosy but the value was great. Seriously the best indian food ive had for a long time.

I live locally, so been there for about 10 times in last 7 months.

Every time we taking the same fish dish - dry fried fish with spices (£7 or £7.50), which is really really amazing! Twice we got the fish underdone, but the waiters was very kindly apologising and replaced that in a few minutes.

Usually we also take one of vegetarian curries (the bitter some kind of melon family vegetable is unusual, but i like it a lot), rice, cucumber salad with nan and lassie drink. Total bill on the night comes to about £20-25 for 2 people, which i think is not bad. Once we ordered starters - that was a mistake, as the portions are generous, so we really over-eat...

Now they refurnished the entrance - which is much more welcoming. But to sit by the door is not good during the cold season.

One of the waiters - blue eyed lady from Romania is probably the sweetest waitress I ever met.

I think this restaurant is really good value for alcohol drinkers (unfortunately i can't enjoy it any more), because you can brink your booze! There are 2 off-license by the side, so, that is really good deal.

One more thing, which i found very very nice from the restaurant management (don't think now that they paid for me to write that!!!), is that during Ramadan month they were offering food for free to break the feast to Muslims. I am not Muslim, but just to see, that someone is doing something not for money - but for the idea, was really wonderful feeling.

Yummy curry and friendly service. Got a bit confused with our order but more than made up for it by being nice about it and overly generous with the portions.

BYOB as well - great for saving the pennies.

Last week i went to mirch masaleh the food was just wow.

i loved it. the service is wow. mr khan is just some weird man. go and tast it and reply. lets see what you say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On monday i went to mirch masaleh. wow they really did impress me. what ever that mr khan wrote was out of his mind. the food is just so wonderful. the staff and service is fab and helful wonderful food. I now go there after 1 day.

Food is rubbish these days, shame as the restaraunt used to be very good.

The standards have dropped and the staff and service is horrible

they need to sort it out. i used to go there twice a week, now i will never go back. They do not treat their regular clients any better Either!
