Had Sunday lunch there yesterday.
Service was friendly and efficient, the food served quite quickly, coffee and selection of teas was good and nice range of beers to chose from. There is a no-smoking section too. Overall a very pleasant experience.
The actual food was OK - the meat was a little tough, though the veg/yorkshire pud were all really good. Desserts were also inconsistent - Apple Crumble really good though sticky-toffee pudding seemed a bit too microwaved.
Overall really liked this place and would happily go back again - it's a nice local pub.

Slightly off the beaten track, this pub offers a great gastro/bar menu. It's not huge and one feels that its strength lies in the drinks and atmosphere. Went on a friday night, was very busy, but mains still arrived within 20mins of ordering. Had a Mushroom & Brie Burger - vegetarian, but not necessairly green! Tasted great though.
