It has been a while since this restaurant was review and from my experience on Saturday I would say it has gone considerably down hill.
Me a couple of friends went for an informal birthday dinner, it was fairly busy but not manic in any way.
We stood around for a couple of minutes waiting to be seated only to be ignored by the waiters, eventually we asked the bar staff who pointed us to the waiters who kept walking past us. We has to say "excuse me, can we have a table for 3" before we could get any acknowledgement.
When we at our table we waited another 5 minutes to have our drinks order taken (the waitress did not say hello she just took the order) the drinks took 15 minutes to be delivered by another waiter who didn't say hello. We made our selection and had to wait another 10 -15 minutes for our order to be taken, again we had to grab a passing waiter. The food came, it was not bad but by this point we were so annoyed it was hard to enjoy it.
There was no offer of a second round of drinks, or desert and the staff started to clear the condiments from the tables at 9.50 pm!
When we eventually got the attention of another waiter to pay the bill I asked him to remove the service charge as we were dissatisfied, he didn't even ask why!
We left and went to a pub up the road and got very drunk to try and forget the experience! Go to this restaurant at your peril!

The service here was great the Manager was brilliant and so funny too. Food was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and informal.

Waited and waited to be seated, no one acknowledged us, we asked someone who seemed like the manager if there was any chance of getting a table soon and he just grunted! Went to the Italian on the corner instead which had lovely staff and food.

After messing up our order three times, and then charging us full price for the meal, they became sarcastic and difficult when we asked then to remove the service charge from the bill. A terrible experience.
