This is our most reliable local restaurant in Maida Vale. My partner and I regularly eat here since moving to this area two years ago. Excellant Singaporean/Malaysian food with great noodles, curries and bbq meats. Seats are a little cramp but who cares when the food is that good!! Highly reccommended.

Best Laksa outside Singapore, infact even inside Singapore! I should know as I am a Singaporean hardcore foodie studying in London. Only complaint, where is the sambal that should go with it!!! Also great grilled blackened pork. Great cafe type eaterie with wagamama type benches, only the food is much better than wagamama. Highly recommended. Ps. they also do some great lunch deals.

Been coming here for the past 18 years since I was a kid, the food is as good as it was then and I still go there at least twice a week, can't be faulted and excellant value. Surprise to see such negative reviews from the previous reviewers. Must be their off day perhaps.

I used to love picking a meal up from a hard days work as a treat but I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole now. I always order the same thing a nasi goreng with chicken and prawn, I have done so for years but now this dish is full of oil, very greasy the prawns are always berely cooked and the portion size has decreased. Especially over the last few months.

The staff are rude but think they are funny they are NOT! A Either the chef they have is rubbish or the old one just got lazy and doesn't care what goes in to those takeaway boxes any more.

Stay away, the Thai Rice round the corner on Elgin ave has better choice, better decor and better service. That place used to be dead until they upped their game and maybe Street Hawker should think about doing the same.

Once upon a time, this place was fantastic for a quick bite to eat. Perfect for a takeaway, or fine to eat in, if you don't mind the fact it can be a bit cramped.

Last couple of months have seen the place go down hill at an almost sonic velocity. They should send in a team of scientists to establish whether some of this latent freefall energy can be harnessed in some fashion to provide an alternative source of power during the not infrequent power-outs around the W9 surrounding areas.

It is almost astonishing that despite the limited menu, the dishes you are inevitably presented with are something entirely distinct to that which you might have ordered.
