I discovered this little gem by accident three years ago and have been going back ever since. Excellent staff, very friendly and laid back. Really good food, especially given the very reasonable price and a lovely, authentic setting. The Kleftico (unsure on spelling, I just ask for it now!) is a melt in the mouth lamb dish I have been recommending to anyone and everyone!!

The decor is shabby, the service typically Mediterranean (leisurely), food excellent value for money. People have choices; you pay your money and take your choice. They do not pretend to be anything they are not, it is an unpretentious eating establishment that provides simple fare, if you go expecting fine dining for the money you pay here and think it expensive then you obviously don’t dine out too often. Highly recommended, take the family cheap at half the price.

Just been reading some reviews on various sites, hilarious couple of bad ones...outweighed by the mountain of good ones. The whole charm of this little gem is it's slightly worn ground floor area, not decorated for years. The food is great Cypriot fare, and great value for money. The banter with the staff is wonderful, I'm taking a 250 mile trip for a family meal there this weekend...think that says it all!!

There is a reason this fantastic restaurant has been around for 33 years, I live locally and highly recommend a visit. There is a gorgeous garden terrace in the summer, fantastic food at a good price with excellent service.
Anyone who says this little gem isn't great must be nuts.

I fell in love with Arocaria the moment I first saw it. There's a homely feel about this place that makes you want to keep going. I live in South London but I visit Arocaria every Saturday. The food has the quality that you would find in Cyprus, the smells, the music, the people and the atmosphere make you feel as though you are magically transfered to a Greek island. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to have a real Greek experience without any hesitation.

I live in Crouch end the last three years and I should admit that I am a fan of Arocaria restaurant since I discovered! we tend to gather there with our friends once a week! the family atmosphere, the fresh flowers all over the place even the table cloths make the place feel like you are in a traditional taverna in a Greek Island! it is not a coincidence that many of the clients are regulars there for decades! The balcony which opens in the summer is also another oasis in busy crouch end Broadway! have been to many Greek restaurants in London but I have not felt as home as in Arocaria restaurant. I definitely consider that our life in North London would not be the same without these evenings in Arocaria restaurant.
