Mas

Ive eaten in Mas on a number of occasions and thoroughly enjoy it every time , I have to eat in a lot of restaurants for my job . I never turn the opportunity to go back , its great value for money and service is excellent .

Have visited Mas on 3 occasions. Every occasion has been great. The food is plentiful, reasonably priced, service good. Would recommend. The tapas is very good and lots of it. Its convenient, near the tube and not prententious. Be prepared to be bloated!

Went to this restaurant just before christmas, live entertainment which was excellent. Food was much improved since my last visit - portion sizes much more generouse. However there were five of us and the bill came up for six! Good job that we checked - at bit on the pricy side but its local and the atmosphere is lovely, best to check your bill.

visited mas for a friend's birthday just before xmas. food was lovely and reasonably priced however have a gripe with the staff. paid our bill and left at about midnight, then received a phone call at 1am!!! as they had under-charged us by mistake. popped in the following morning to pay outstanding amount and they then tried to add on over £20 of drinks that weren't ours! drinks were reasonable priced but spirits were extremely watered-down. shame about service and drinks as food was lovely. stick to wine or soft drinks if u visit here and check your bill!

I visted mas on wednesday 15th of Nov.

with a group of freinds. What can I say,it was absolutly brilliant, the food was fantastic, small menu but good choices with an intersting specials board.

We picked lotds of different dishes from the starters/tappas section amd all shared a gormet feast.

The service was polite and extreamly freindly with a singer on the backround ( who was very good too)we saw a sign saying they do live music every wednesday and friday. Nothing was too much trouble for the bubbly waiters and manager(hmm sexy...) I can't wait till the next time we go back. I 100% recommend this place you don't know what you are missing till you see it for your self.

To be honest when I was first told that I was going to be dragged to a Tapas Restaurant on my first date....I was dreading it! (Not my kind of food) However I was amazed when when I walked in, the decor was great swanky, but cosy at the same time. The service was great, just like the food, which was a huge surprise to me! I couldn't fault the variety and my tatsebuds were screaming for more....so now I am a regular! I have been converted!

I totally recommend this restaurant if you wish for something swanky and cannot be bothered to grab a train up town.

This place has lost the plot! The tapas menu has been drastically reduced only a limited selection, giving way to a selection of main meals. Although the quality cannot be faulted, this place is no longer viable as a place to go for tapas. What a total loss! Why not convert the bar area into a proper tapas bar where you can get a drink and some tapas, leaving the rest as a "proper" restaurant? Also, where is the cava and spanish beer? These are basic requirements in a spanish restaurant. Still a good place to go for spanish food but if you are going for tapas, you will not be sadly dissapointed.

This restaurant really is "more" than a tapas bar, in fact tapas does not really do it justice. The portions are too big, and there is not enough choice to be a "full" tapas bar, but Mas is so much better. The food is better than anything I have found in the City, and although it is on my doorstep I regret not having visited it sooner.

The menu offers a good choice, as does the wine menu.

It is pricey for a local restaurant, but well worth every penny.

Service is great, never having to wait, but not hurried at the same time.

The goats cheese salad with caramalised onions is fantastic.

It is a restaurant that crosses the gap between tapas and regular dining, it was great ordering three or four starter sized dishes to pick at.

Well Recommended.

You will not be dissapointed.

This place is excellent value as the portions are defintely on the generous side. Good calamari, potata bravas, spanish omelete and all the usual dishes. Good fish tapas too. Sometimes they have special offers on to get 2 or 3 dishes at a reduced rate. Nice decor.
