Terrific food on a very busy lunchtime. We didn't have to wait overly long for the food and when it came, we were all very happy (office crew). Lunch was not very expensive either. Think we'll make this a regular haunt!

My wife and I went here for the first time last night and have nothing but praise for the place. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was excellent- my steak was cooked to perfection. We both ate well and shared a bottle of wine for just over £40. We'll be back!

It's a nice pub...little on the noisy side for eating in, but not too much of a problem.
We had three meals: the very dry Shearer's pie, two incorrectly cooked steaks and revolting, old tasting chips.
We asked for the steaks to be cooked a little more, which was done quickly.
We had no offer of mustard or other sauces and had to queue up at a busy bar to ask for this and the recooking of the steaks. No steak knifes are available, but they were needed. The plates were cold.
We said we weren't very happy with the meal and in response got an embarrassed shrug and a mumbled sorry...nothing else.
