Spice Village Tandoori Restaurant and Takeaway

After reading the rave reviews I made the long trek to the restaurant. Sunday night and the place was packed.

I had high expectations and unfortunately they were not met. On the positive side I loved the naan, roti, kebab, and falooda. They were fantastic!!

However the main dishes were a real let down (okra, chicken spinach) - too much oil and not much flavor.

Service was attentive and superb.

I would most likely go again though.

Excellent Food and service!

If you want an authentic taste of Pakistani Lahori cuisine you must pay a visit-try the Masala Fish and Shahi Haleem for a superb experience!!!

Its the best I have ever had!

Oh Yes!..The Chicken Tikka Roll is THE best I've ever tasted, it rocks! Mad service, organised chaos at the tandoor oven but smiles all round from the staff AND the customers.. highly recommended!

I've never written a review on any place before, however when i saw spice village, i had to tell you about the king prawn curry, it's the best you're going to get anywhere this side of lahore

I travelled far to reach it..its one of teh few truly halal restaurnts in london...and te food was amazing..and dont you miss faluda..its great..

Excellent food at a great price. I must agree with the review by JB the Masala Fish is very good. The range of food is very good although I do wish they done some Pakistani type eggy bread.

I go here once a month with some friends and my partner.

The food is great and being a veggie I can highly recommend the veggi dishes.

My partner thinks the Roti's are the best in town.
