How delightful to find a restaurant where the atmosphere is warm, but you are not crammed in like sardines! We will definitely be coming back!

We took the kids with us for lunch and had a wonderful time. The Italians really know how to do family-friendly and clearly adore children.

The food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend you try the clamari fritti and the pizza was the best I've tasted.

What a great restaurant!

I went here with family and we were all made to feel so welcome by the friendly staff.

This restaurant has a traditional Italian atmosphere with superb food which was freshly cooked to order. I'd recommend the steaks and also the traditional pizza's which are the best this side of Naples.

What a super place. very friendly and attentive staff, good food, pretty good wine and even a guitarist to serenade us. Four of us arrived at 6.30pm and at first I was concerned by the loud canned music, but then a Dustin Hoffman lookalike began playing his guitar. Excellent and he enjoyed the joke that his career had gone downhill after 'The Graduate'. I stuck to a mussels starter followed by a seafood (including more mussels) main course. Our daughter had a great big pizza. The staff were attentive and things weren't rushed. The house red was OK but the Valpolicella Classico was better, and the four of us got through three bottles. Their website claims we could see the Thames, perhaps but only with a step ladder. I don't think the food was expensive but we were treated by our daughter's partner Leighton so I didn't know the final cost. A really good evening out and the 'Two meals for the price of one during January' vouchers given to us as we left was a nice touch.

I really couldn't disagree more with some of the negative comments here. Al Forno's is excellent. If you're looking for an english pizza place you won't like it here, but if you want friendly waiters, excellent pizza's and entertaining bar staff this is the place to go! I've been here numerous times. It's perfect for a date but just as good for a large group. The owner is a legend, on one occassion he salsa danced with all the girls at our table which encouraged everyone to join in and we had a fantastic time.

The food is great, you won't find better pizza in surrey, the dessert menu is fantastic, and as for value for money it's awesome. I saw £20 a head above but the huge pizzas ('medium' on the menu!) range from 7.99 to 12.99.

I reccommend going here if you get a chance. I'm going there tonight!

My Wife and i went this Friday and were very disppointed. After Booking in advance we were given an awful table located at the bottom of the raised area.the service was rushed beyond belief. As soon as we finish a course we were pouched upon - 45 minutes for a 3 course meal!. We also found the food average. Be careful when you order the main course as you will need to order veg for an extra £2.50 each

I would not reccommend this restaurant and my wife was not inpressed. She is a qualifed chef of 18 years.

Price for 2 was £50+ including a glass of house wine.

Overall very poor service below par food average

I ate with my elderly Aunt in your Kingston restaurant recently and was very impressed with the food (better than San Lorenzo!)and service - our waiter who took good care of my Aunt was really polite and professional. Will come back and soon I hope!
