Just had lunch at the place. It has been renovated now so looks a lot more modern. But i was not too impressed by the food. I love South Indian food and have definitely been to better places. But the worst of all was the wrong price put on the bill. Just wondering why is it always more? Well just would like people to check the bill if you fancy going to this place :-)

Visited the place with some of my English and Welsh friends. They loved the 'new' range of food. The Masala Dosa was an absolute hit, as was the Chicken spinach.

Need to visit again to check their Thali.

We went on the spur of the moment and chose it because it promised something different from the usual Punjabi fare of 99% of restaurants. The Dosas (new to me) were exactly as my partner remembers from her 6 months living in India! The Paneer and Spinach was also rather good and the selection of side sauces were similarly very good.

What struck us most however was the friendliness of the staff, especially to our 8 month old baby who had his first real taste of curry (loved the chapattis, poppadums, paneer and mango lassi - the last which they gave him 'on the house'!)

Prices were reasonable (prob cheap for london but we're new here!), good food and great staff - what more can you ask for??

A little out of the way, but a great little restaurant serving very cheap, very tasty south Indian food. They do many of the usual south Indian favourites like dosas and idlis, as well as some less well known dishes from Kerala. Some standard Indian restaurant dishes are also available, but these are not what this place is about. You would have to try very hard to spend more than £10! Highly recommended if you anyhere nearby.
