I visited Thai corner last week - the service was terrible really irritating guy called dim or something..food was very soggy but expensive - I agree with Neil.
I needed a few pints of Guiness to get rid of the taste in me mouth

I have been to this restaurant 4 times in the past 2 weeks. The food has been amazing every time. The lunch menu is great for a quick bite, 2 courses for £5.95. I would highly recommend as it is very reasonably priced and the staff are friendly oh and the food is great!

We eat here at least once a week and I love the pad Thay chicken. Its the best ever. The coconout rice is also amazing.
Me and my boyfriend love it here. We have been there many many times now but we have never been offered a free drink or something like that...something that regular guest should get in my opinion. Anyway the food is not expensive and we will come back

We've just eaten a home delivery from here, and frankly I am astounded by the good reviews this restaurant is getting. Perhaps what is in-house is completely different to what is delivered? I doubt it though.
The food was the worst I have eaten. The mixed starters were tasteless, the dim-sum (how can it be called that?) stodgy and slimey, fish cakes like rubber and an after thought of a spare rib.
The mains were too salty and again tasteless, the rice dry. All this for £40 too, which is unbelievable.
All in all I'm going to need the free Thai beer to wash the taste away. Never again. Go to Huong-Viet if you want quality Asian cooking.

I've been to the Thai Corner cafe many times as it use to be my boyfriend's local place to eat. The food is great, try the yellow curry... fantastic!!
A couple of times we got a pretty rude waiter but apart from him the restaurant is amazing. Nice terrace and authentic Thai food!

I went to the restaurant on sunday. I didn't book a table. Didn't relise that there are a garden at the back. The staff asked me politely that if I had booked a table. I said no. She told me if I wanted to sit in the garden, you needed to book but if I wanted to sit in the garden you have to wait. I decided to wait. The meal was good with exceptional service. It was really busy. You can see staffs running around. The Garden is really nice. You can hear the noise from the railway at the back. Difinetely will come back again.

Ate here with my girlfriend on Sunday night.
We sat on the terrace, which is very nice indeed - it overlooks the garden and is ramshackle and charming in a very Thai way. It was a hot evening and with the smells coming from the kitchen below and the chatter of the waiting staff it was almost like being back in Thailand. In terms of atmosphere this is a 10/10.
The food, however, is another story. It was very inconsistent and at times downright bad. The tom yam soup was OK although the seafood lacked zing and had clearly been frozen. Nevertheless, it was passable.
Mains were worse with one dish in particualr a travesty. This was the crispy fish. Rather than a whole, fresh, white fish in light batter, this was a chunk of salmon steak in a chip-shop style batter. I can't really express how much this annoyed me, but I'll try.
1. "Crispy fish" - to anyone familiar with Thai food, you'd expect a whole fish and not a slice without bones which has much less taste. It wasn't "crispy fish slice", after all.
2. Salmon is absolutely not a normal ingredient in Thai cooking and if they were using this rather than the more traditional snapper/bream/bass they should have said so.
3. There is no excuse for a batter like that anywhere outside a chippy.
Other mains varied from good - sizzling steak - to indifferent (aubergine salad and pumpkin curry). And while we're at it, the tiger beers weren't cold enough.
And it wasn't actually all that cheap - £52 and then another fiver for service means effectively £30 a head. Despite the lovely atmosphere and decent service, clearly not worth it. Go to Ban Thai in St John's Wood for a really nice neighbouhood Thai or Isarn on Upper Street for unusually good Thai food (although admittedly with serving staff from hell). But don't go here if you care about what you put in your belly.

If you have not been to this amazing restaurant then you are certainly missing something special. I have been on many occassions and it is never anything less than superb.
The food is excellent, authentic and flavourful with ingredients which taste and look fresh. If you like spicy food then some of the dishes will certainly give you a blast of heat (but without dampening down the flavours). The staff are great and the decor is nice. The garden seating in the rear is a good choice in the summer. And to top it off the prices are very reasonable.
All in all 5 star!
