Gastro pubs seem to be rare in Stratford so there is not much competition. However this pub serves a great Sunday roast (with extra gravy if needed!). Huge yorkshire puddings, lots of meat on the plate. Not a great menu for vegetarians though. It’s a fairly traditional Tavern type pub with very dark wood everywhere and low wood beams. It's a large pub with lots of different seating areas. It was peacful inside for 2:30pm on a Sunday. They have a garden with approx 6 wooden benches. It’s not the prettiest but it’s comfortable. If I was hungry in Stratford on a Sunday it’s the first and only place I would go. Roast cost £13.

@foodepedia Pretty bright and sticky over here but not as wet as we thought. Enjoy the heatwave!
