Saki Bar & Food Emporium

I might as well set up a direct debit, that way I can feel the money being sucked out of my account as I eat each morsel. That being said, you do get what you pay for. It's not the place to go when you're starving for lunch and hankering for sushi (at least not on my salary). It is the place for some seriously good eats, though. A must try for sushi lovers. Probably the only sushi place in London with an Italian maitre'd (who is lovely!)

Had a fantastic evening with delicious cocktails and six course chef's kaiseki. I liked the Japanese bartender who was a bit shy but his drinks were awesome! My boyfriend had a purple mojito and I had amazake martini (delicious! I couldn't help but order another one).

Chef's kaiseki was divine: each dish was meticulously crafted and delightful to both eyes and palate. We shall come back very soon (maybe for a Valentine's Day treat?)
