The Cinnamon Tree

I've only had takeaway from the Cinnamon Tree, but it was the best Indian food I've had since Spice Grills in Queen's Park (which, an Indian friend told me, is as close to home cooking as you're going to find). I had the chicken dansak and it was expertly spiced, the pilau rice was gorgeous and the garlic naan was divoon.

My girlfriend and I tasted their cuisine and didn't think too highly of it at all. The King Prawns were small and over cooked and were absolutely swimming in sauce. The portions in the meat dishes we had were also small and the cocunut ice cream desert tasted more like vanilla than coconut. We felt fairly ripped off after the meal, and are a little put off from Indian cuisine.
