AFTER A FEW YEARS AWAY FROM THE AREA,WE RETURNED TO THE SPICE OF LIFE LAST NIGHT..ONLY NOW DO WE REALIZE HOW ORDINARY OUR LOCAL CURRY HOUSES ARE IN BEXLEY AND HOW GOOD THE SPICE OF LIFE IS..LEWISHAM IS LUCKY TO HAVE THIS GREAT RESTAURANT..FRESH INTERESTING FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE,SERVED BY FRIENDLY,HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Always enjoy eating at this restaurant.I recently had my birthday celebration here and the restautant staff were great. we have been coming here for years and love it. the atmosphere,music ,friendliness of staff,and of course the food are all great.Everyone we introduce to this restaurant is a convert.

This restaurant continues to be superb in every way.its menu is varied and "Moody" (sic) always talks you through the dishes and the specials.

A good barometer of a place is - how many people return/ At the Spice of Life you always see familiar faces. Those of us who've lived in Lewisham for years know it's the best !

My family were introduced to the restaurant about ten years ago and we have made many return trips both as a family and with friends. The welcome is always very warm and friendly, the atmosphere is unstuffy and relaxed and service prompt and efficient while the food is excellent and still improving. We will be booking for a family meal again this Christmas eve and can be guaranteed a really good night out.

me and my family have all been visiting this place for many years. The staff are friendly the food is great and its not too expensive. Highly recommended.
