I'd rate this place as slightly above average. It tries so hard to be some sort of concept restaurant but it's all too easy to see past the gloss and realise what's beneath is in fact little more than pizza in a pub. A very loud pub. And a very echoey loud.

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the place. I'm just saying the wool wasn't pulled over my eyes on this occasion. And I felt it was trying to do just that. I went in for food more than beer. We were shoehorned into a table that wasn't quite the right size for my party and thereafter found that service was only provided if you could get the staff's attention.

Now the operative word there is "if". They seemed somewhat adept at avoiding eye contact and the acoustics were so bad that even the most carrying voice was lost in the cacophany. I would have given the service a 5, but they were doing a good job on a busy evening, so it's worth an upgrade.

The food was good, but that was about it. Oh and it's not too expensive. But, for me at least, it ends there.

I'd go again, but probably only if someone asked me.

Zero Degrees, for me, has been a great choice for a night out - whether for a meal or just for drinks.

Their pizzas are really yummy with a huge choice of different toppings, some really unique combinations too. I haven't tried their mussels yet but plan to go back as they smell great!

The interior is really different to most restaurants and bars, it's got a very funky and modern feel to it which has impressed friends that I've taken there and the brewery is an interesting factor. Cocktails available too, so it's not just for the guys!

The only downside is that the menu is limited to just pizzas or mussels, but the quality doesn't disappoint.

I really don't see how some of you have given place a shyte rating. The beers are absolute quality, those of you who think its yuk should stick to the 24hr shop/ offy with the crappy chemical infested cans of crap they call beer, you obviously don't know what your on about.

With regards to the food, its great, every thing is always fresh and of a very high standard. The service is also excellent and I think the decor is great and its also relatively cheap, what more do you want?!

BEER = 7*

FOOD = 5*

SERVICE = 5*

ATMOSPHERE = 3*

DECOR = 4*

PRICE = 5*

The service was very good. We had a selection of meals including the mussels; which were delicious. Salads, which were average, and pizza, which was great! Not a huge choice in desserts the waffles were enjoyable, the vanilla cheesecake was not enjoyed by our guest she claimed it tasted like flan. However the lemon cheesecake was scrumptious. There was a brilliant selection of really tasty beer.

All in all an enjoyable evening which was good value for money.

Oh, come on people. This is a sophisticated beer connoisseurs' palace. The food is only there for the snack but you don't have to go to Czech anymore to taste the best European lager available. The Pale Ale is like the original brewed for the Poms in India. Delicious. These are beers to be "eaten" not quaffed down to a drunken stupor.

I visisted this restaurant for the first time 2 weeks ago and was so impressed we went back on Saturday. Fantastic pizzas with so many interesting toppings (the salmon one was very yummy). Their mussels are great and the salads are divine - Mediterranean & the King Prawn especially. Service a bit slow but all in all, an affordable & good dining experience.

Mussels were great.

Beer (sorry but yuk!), maybe I am too used to the usual non organic stuff.

Pizza and Salad straight out of premade packets, poor ingrediants and mushy. Will not revisit this place.

This grey-fronted venue initially impresses with its banks of industrial stainless steel tanks, but then it quickly becomes clear that all the dispossessed males within a locus of ten miles have assembled en-masse in striped lager-soaked football shirts to cheer, leer, wildly gesticulate, spill and chant at the large screens showing "the match".

The beer, like the clientele is frisky with bakelite and ash notes. All froth, no substance; 'Boots'-brew betters.

Clattering acoustics with dense, bass-driven, head office selected tracks and a perpetually damp, oddly-shaped bar combine to make this fermenting, overcrowded, 'concept' mosh pit a testosterone-fuelled hellish nightmare.

this microbrewery produces a great range of beers - the pilsner is my favourite! Also does great stone baked pizzas with unusual toppings (like peking duck and thai chicken, along with more normal offerings) and other snack-type things. I recommend the spiedini (halloumi with thyme wrapped in palma ham) and the doughballs - heaven!
