the food was ok. I would eat there again only when i want a quick local. I enjoyed my starter but the prawn vindaloo could have been a bit more tasty. BUT THE SERVICE : i found it AWFUL . i do not understand the body guard behavior over looking the tables like we were gonna to steal something and it felt like every time you needed to order they were dragging their feet to get to your table. HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Khana peena- always friendly, good service when you eat in. Food is tasty- try the fish starter- 'roie chop' and the 'shahi rezala', they're delicious! HOWEVER, the takeaway portions are tiny- you do get somewhere between 20%-50% off on collection, but I don't think that justifies the size of portions. Eat-in portions are fine though.

I went to Khana Peena restaurant last Friday with a group of 10 people. Altogether it was wounderful. Food was lovely. Service was very professional & friendly. Although restaurant were very busy but we get our starter and main course on time. I would recomand this restaurant to every one.

i went to the khana peena with my friends for a birthday party and it was absolutely the perfect night out to a restaurant. tried the khana peena before with families and once again it was above my expectations. the food was served to us so nicely and promptly. i recommend the grill prawn to everyone wanting something new. the service was one of the best i have seen in the croydon area. staffs were very attentive. price was affordable and will be definitely be back again and again. i rate them the best we can have in the croydon area. do strongly recommend it to everyone.

Brilliant place, the food was tasty, and the service exceptional. We were making plans for our next visit while we were only half way through our mains! very happy!

This restaurant is outstanding and also if you book your take away before 19:00 and you pick it up it is half price, have one every week as it is lovely. Mmmm
