Couldn't agree more with the previous review. We started really well with a great impression of the place, but we had 3 different waitresses looking after our table, which was really annoying when trying to have a conversation. They would ask sthg every 2 min! The food was slow to arrive, which did not bother us as we had time. However, after the main course, the service completely disappeared as if we were not there and we could have easily left the restaurant without anyone noticing! We had to ask for the dessert menu, then for the bill and again to pay
, (about 45 min). I asked a different waitress to pay the bill and she was so blasé and couldn't care less if we enjoyed our meal and experience in the restaurant. It's recession time for god's sake, so they should be grateful we paid £100 for the meal!! I was so shocked by the waitress attitude that I will call the manager tomorrow. Overall, very disappointed. Ok experience.
We had the lobster, which was good but not amazing. Fries were really dry and I will not go again.

The Cabin has gone downhill alot over the past year or so. The food is good when it is correct, but the service is very very poor. They don't really care if they get your order wrong and you ALWAYS have to ask at least twice for everything. It is a real shame as this used to be a great place to eat.

i went to the CABIN BAR AND GRILL the other day, and must say that the place really looks trendy, and fresh, the staff are very efficient and made their best to make us feel welcome,the food is the best i had in a quile and could not get enough of it.(steaks are to die for.)
i would reccomend this place to everyone, if you haven't been give it a go!

I've have great meals here so I'm hoping last night's episode was just a one off... we booked a table for 15 people which was clearly too large for the inexperienced staff to handle.
First of all the service was slow... really slow!!! We booked a table for 18:30, ordered about 19:00 and the starters didn't arrive until about 20:00... fair play the quality of food on this course was ok, but considering we prebooked our main courses we were then left waiting until gone 21:30!!!
My ribs were excellent although there was a big difference in quality compared to the person sitting next to me... also most of the steaks were cold, probably due to poor timing in the kitchen. Also we sent one of our deserts back...
On the positive side food is always cheap on a Monday night and they forgot to add the wine to our bill which is why we kept complaints to a minimum on our way out...
