Very good food quality. I went there many times and I was never able to find a dish that was not original or ''fake Italian'' as this can happen in Jamie's Italian or Strada or Ask.

All is real Italian, authentic, genuine and very tasty!

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant, with decent antipasti and pizza, and a surprisingly local feel in a central neighbourhood. Won't blow your socks off, but reliable, well cooked food with proper ingredients, and no more expensive than a pizza chain, but much nicer. A great place for a mixed group or extended family meal.

Really nice food and good service (we had pasta). Great atmosphere, very busy Saturday night.

Can’t wait to go back and try their pizza. Highly recommended!

I have just had the worst eating out experience of my life in 20 years in London.

The restaurant was empty and we sat at a table outside. The waiter decided to move us somewhere else claiming the table was reserved. No sign was on the table and nobody came to sit there apart from the staff at times. Later on a family of four sat down at a en empty table and the waiter did the same again and asked them to move to a table further at the back. They refused to move and I advised them that the same waiter moved us with no reason.

I then asked for the bill and told the waiter I wasn't paying for the discretionary service charge. He told me that this wad not a fast food and I could not choose to eat where I wanted. I couldn't believe my ears so I asked to see the manager. He claimed he was the manager and I told him he was doing a really poor job. He then proceeded to tell me that I didn't have to come here to eat and that there were other restaurants elsewhere.

I have never complained in a restaurant in my life but this really was surreal.

I wish I could have had the capacity to vomit back what I ate on his shoes before I left.

Dined here as part of a large group not so long ago and found the food & experience generally to be no better than in countless other generic and interchangeable Italian restaurants I have eaten in all over the country.

The presentation of the food and the general bonhomie were both inviting and, in the case of the former, fairly novel. However, the service was functional at best and I got the impression than rather than welcoming a group of our size (and the money that came with us) we were more of an inconvenience to the management than anything else.

The shared 'antipasti' we ordered were over oiled and lacked flavour. I was dining with a Neapolitan who shared my view. The pizza was fair, but no more than that. Perhaps I have been spoilt by spending too much time in Italy experiencing the real thing.

People tell me it's one of the better Italian eateries around in London, but on the strength of this visit, I fail to see what all the fuss is about. I would be willing the place a second chance, but only if hungry when passing since I doubt very much I'd seek it out.

Sadly had the worst experience ever last night in this place. I've been there many times without any problem, good service, good food, good value for money. I walked in with a group of 9 friends after some bar hopping on the street, the manager first asked us to wait for 30 minutes, which seemed reasonable as the restaurant was full... but as customers left he started placing groups of 2 on huge tables of 8 ! We tried to talk him into putting us on the next available table and he just went bogus and asked us to leave?? The final step was him telling us, on his door step that we had absolutely no knowledge in managing a restaurant, in a very arrogant and condecending way, and we were unwelcome (!!). Would much rather eat a bit less quality pizza but with a friendly management.

If you ask me Santore is not what it used to be !!

We found Santore looking for somewhere to eat on the way back from Saddlers Wells. I doesn't look anything super special from the outside but the food is.

This place is a real gem, one of those great little places you hope someone would find and tell you that you have to go. Truly nice people, friendly service, lots of personal attention and some of the best Italian food I have had outside Itay, and inside for that matter.

This is honestly a place to come back to over and over again. No fancy nonsence just fantastic food. If its busy You might wait a little while for your bill, so what! its 100% my favourite little Italian anywhere. Oh... 3 courses and good bottle of wine £75 for 2 - Super.

Visually, the restaurant isn't up to much but it doesn't matter as it serves up the best pizza I've ever had (even in Italy). The pizza menu is simple and authentic so you won't find anything ground-breaking on it but the pizzas are so so so good you won't care.

Had a very rushed first visit last week, where one of our party was late.

Felt desparately ill mannered at the speed we had to eat the meal, as we had a ballet to catch.

Food was perfect and service couldn't be faulted. Was hoping there was another Santore in West End so I could use it again, but it seems that I'll just have to go to see another ballet!!!!

Now that Spaccanapoli has closed in Soho, this is the sister restaurant to come for the same excellent authentic Neapolitan pizzas. There is practically nothing like it in London. We visited last Saturday and it was fabulous. The place was busy with a greatly mixed clientele including many Italian families. I hope the place will go from strength to strength.
