The restuarant is actually quite nice. It is one of the well hidden gems in London. The food does take time to appear and the waiter can be forgetful, but the food is freshly made and quite authetic. Does not taste as if it has been poured out of a jar.

I have visited Manus Restaurant many times now. I found the food to be very tasty, reasonably priced, and the staff very friendly. The ambiance is good.
Keep up the good work!

Manus is a a rare thing in Stratford, a restaurant worth dining in. Small and unassuming from the outside, the interior is spacious and unpretentious. No overbearing music and gaudy decor in here. The service is prompt and courteous, and cannot be faulted. Most importantly the food is of a high standard, certainly the best indian in Stratford, and good value to boot.
It's a shame that more people aren't aware of this hidden jewel, as sometimes dining can be a lonely experience. However the friendliness of the waiting staff makes up for this. To sum up, Manus is definitely worth the short walk from Startford Centre to West Ham Lane,

The staff here are just so nice and friendly! Absolutely faultless. The menu read like a dream but just didn't really deliver. Curry was lukewarm, portions were small, flavours were dull. Everything was very average to below average, which is a shame. I'd want to go back just for the service, but I'm not sure I would based on the quality...there are so, so, so many better Indian restaurants out there.

Hi, I have been to Manus Restaurant for my 23rd birthday and i thoroughly enjoyed it very much and so did my family members, as we felt like kings and queens becasue the service was exceptional although the waiters did have a few understanding problems. Furthermore the food was unique and was very nice and differnt to any other indian cuisine i have dined in before. The inside deco was faboulous as was the furniture. With very comfortable chairs. I would recommend this restaurnat to anyone and everyone.

This is without a doubt the best Indian retaurant in Statford. They serve many interesting Keralan dishes as well as the usual "curry house" fare. I can particuarly recomend the dosas, keralan fish fry and the chicken vindaloo. The interior of this restauant is very brightly decorated with traditional Keralan artifacts and paintings. Service is friendly and prompt.

Hi...I went to Manus for my 15th birthday...here are some points i would like to make:
-the KING prawn fry couldn't live up to it's name because it wasn't so much "KING" it was more like JOKER prawn fry because it really made me laugh
-I couldn't make out what the waiters were trying to say, when i ordered a glass of cocacola he TRIED to confirm my order but i did not understand what he was trying to say
-The waiters also were very forgetful, when I ordered a coffee to round off my meal they gave me an emty cup, five minutes later they realize there is no coffee in my cup!
-The chairs were nice but not appropriate as it made you feel like you were in the lobby of a cheap hotel
-The front of the restraunt looks quite "cheap" but the inside is a very pleasant place to be
-The food was "OK", "average", nothing to write home about
Overall the visit was pleasant and an enjoyable evening
