The Fest

I came here for dinner on a Friday night and what a great atmosphere! It was a lot different to the Saturday night Parties they are famous for! The atmosphere was super relaxed and accentuated by the live acoustic music they had on. I was with a group of 5 who have all been to Oktoberfest and needed a pork knuckle fix! The knuckles were awesome! Huge portions and tender, tender meat! All washed down with great beer!

I came in here to watch the Bundesliga and was amazed at the amount of German supporters there! The Fest really make you feel like you're home! The commentry was in German and all the fans were talking to each other in German!

It was like being in Germany. The best part was the food! I had currywurst which I have not had since I left Germany. It was a real treat and the sauerkraut it was served with was some of the best I have ever had! I would recommend this place to come and watch sports! What a great atmosphere!!!

I went to the Oktoberfest in Germany for the 6th time last year and after last Saturday night I can honestly say that this is the closest thing to beerfest I have experienced outside of Munich. The beers were HUGE and the food authentic and in MASSIVE portions. Great atmosphere. The German band was a little loud when we were there but the drinking games were fun and it was really worth the effort! I give it a big thumbs up great fun!

I haven't been to this pub on a Saturday night however I have been on a friday and it was great!

My friends and I came to this pub to have some traditional German food and we were not dissapointed! They had everything from currywurst to schweinehaxen (pork knuckle). They had a great selection of German lagers including Augustiner, which I have only ever seen in Germany!

While we ate and drank we were serenaded by a young guy and his guitar, it was lovely! Really nice chilled out atmosphere. Just what you need after a busy day at the office, will definately return.
