This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in Lacy Road - just off Putney High Street. Some very well executed dishes - my fave is the lentil curry - absolutely delicious . Very friendly and attentive staff.

We are regular patrons of this restaurant and find it consistently the best Indian restaurant in Putney. The tandoori trout is one of our favourite dishes, as it is delicately flavoured and light in texture and is an excellent companion to the prawn with pumpkin or lamb tengry masala. The other nice quality of this restaurant is that it is not the sort Indian you go to after "too many beers" so you can have a relaxing and enjoyable night out as well as eating high quality Indian food.

We have been eating at the Samratt for over 20 years and have always had consistently excellent food and service.

The management and staff are to be congratulated.
