I guess I must have been unlucky when I went there. My spaghetti all'amatriciana were awful!!! The sauce was terrible. I was suspecting the chef, or whoever was preparing the food that night, had simply dumped some cheap ketchup over the lukewarm pasta. My friend had a risotto which wasn't quite that terrible, but certainly didn't resemble an Italian risotto. Although moderately priced, I still found it outrageous to be served such poor quality food at a restaurant. The beer was good though, I am just glad that it didn't have to pass through the kitchen...I won't give it a second try after that experience, sorry. And I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

The best pub food in north london with a excellent sunday roast and very good selection of fresh fish.

I found the food excellent and with the delightful vues of the regents canal it was the perfect way to spend an evening. At £10 ( average ) for a main course you can't go wrong with this fantastic little gastro-pub. The only down side i found was the work in progress in the basement restaurant area. though i'm sure once completed, it will finish the place of completly.
