In 2011, Yupa's Thai expanded their premises and opened a new deli - Yupa's Thai To Go - next door.

Yupa's is my favourite Thai restaurant in London - its my secret weapon when friends and family come to stay. The staff are lovely, service is good, food is always great and consistently so. The weekends are busy as expected, but you can almost always get a table (though best to book) and if you cant, their takeaway is fab. One of the reasons I've stayed in Chiswick so long is because of Yupa's!

The best restaurant i have ever been to. We are now regulars at Yupa's. I would recommend Yupa's to anyone who wants to have a perfect fresh, home-made meal at a very reasonable cost. 10/10 .

Yupa's is a gem of a Thai restaurant, the best in chiswick and . The food is fresh, the staff are warm and the small venue size makes this place very welcoming. I have been coming here every fortnight for a good few years.

I judge a Thai restauarant on the quality of its Pad Thai and on this front Yupa's wins hands down, even compared to Belgravia's Mango Tree (and for a fraction of the price)

Also worth noting that the delivery/takeway is really good value

I went to Yupa's Thai Kitchen with a few friends of mine a few months ago. As broke students we thought we'd take the risk and go for a nice Thai meal. Yupa's Thai Kitchen was recommended by another friend of ours, so we thought we'd see what all the fuss was about. Now, usually we're welcomed with rather concerning looks in other restaurants - they often think we are a group of four troublesome students. In Yupa's they welcomed us so warmly, we loved the restaurant instantly. The atmosphere is cosy and the aromas of the thai spices fill the room spectacularly - not too strong - just like in the food. It was delicious! We had a pot of rice, a pad thai (there was no problem in ordering the noodle dish without peanuts), a lemon and chilli fish dish, and a spicy duck dish. Exquisite to say the least, and that was the main course alone. The starters were delicious too! You could just tell that everything was fresh, from the ingredients to the compilation of the prawn wraps, spring rolls etc there was none of that manufactured touch you get in some other restaurants.

Service too was efficient, and they catered to all of our needs. The price may seem high to some but it's worth paying good money for wonderful food and service.

If there is one slight criticism it is that the music was a bit repetitive and heavy on the bass.

We had an amazing time in this place. The food was great and really authentic Thai taste. The service was also excellent, we were served within 10 minutes. For dessert we ordered sticky pudding and it was the first time for my partner to have this and unfortunately he did not like it. Not because of the the quality they served - I loved it, he just did not like it. The manager spotted that he had not finished and asked why and he took it off the bill, so generous. This is the way you should treat your customers. What is worth mentioning is that the place was really packed, people were queing outside - with temp -2C thereabouts places next to it were almost empty. That means this place is worth waiting for a while.

Fantastic value for money. I go about twice a month at the moment, the food is just as good as Thai Square, the portions are bigger and its at a fraction of the price.

Service is very personable, and if there is ever a problem with the order, they sort it out really quick and professionally.

Comfortable and casual atmosphere.

Expect to pay about £20-£25 a head

This is definitely the best Thai in Chiswick!

I am really surprised to hear anyone say it's expensive! I have never spent more than £10 a head for delicious, authentic food.

I love it and would recommend it to anyone!

Very nice restaurant. Best Thai we have found in Chiswick since the Thai Bistro closed. Som Tum is delicious - which is a good sign. Service excellent and its decent value for money - but its not cheap. Expect to pay £20 a head for a standard meal with a beer each.

I am deeply shocked by some of the reviews on here, This is the best thai restuarant I have been to. I am a regular visitor to this place at least once a month minimum, it offers great value for money, great service and great portion size. I have been coming here since it opened and before that when it was in the pack horse up the road. me and my colleagues swear by Yupa and I have even mentioned it in my recent book as 1 of 20 things to do before you die.

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend for a meal on Friday night, both of us are big fans of Thai cuisine. Having read excellent reviews about this place on this website we headed towards Chiswick in the anticipation of culinary wonders of Yupa's Thai kitchen...

Well it did not all go down the plan. To begin with food arrived very late and it was stone cold. I ordered tamarind duck (which to be honest saw better days), duck meat was not fresh and i was under impression as if they merely reheated the leftovers from last Friday. My boyfriend went for a beef Panang curry - usually its very hard to go wrong with this poular dish, but not in this place. It was absolutely bland, the worst thai curry we have ever tasted. Coconut rice was not seasoned at all and half cooked.

All in all, an absolute DISASTER!! They should sack the chef and start all over again. We ended up getting a take away afterwards.
