this restaurant is the most beautiful place that i had ever worked in. nice people and nice place. i miss those days. you will have a beautiful meal here - i have tasted nearly all kinds of food there.

My partner and I decided on a nice meal out with it being a Friday and living in the locality.

The ambience seemed pleasant enough with golden oldie Mediterranean songs, a nicely decorated interior and seating outside.

A waitress welcomed us with a warm smile, and when we said we hadn't a reservation she asked her male colleague, who without so much as a hello, pointed to a table tucked out of the way.

Along with the rest of the food, we ordered some bread and olive oil to have while we waited for the starter. We were treated to a bowl of olives which was a welcome touch. Somehow the generous starters arrived first, so when questioned the need for the bread, the obnoxious waiter snapped that it was coming anyway – which left quite an impression on the evening.

The tonno e fagioli salad was a decent size, could have even passed for a main course, 'though the salad leaves were a tad dry. My main course was a delicious sausage dish, and the tomato sauce was really tasty. The accompanying chips cum sautéed potatoes had a good flavour and were crispy, but the oil tasted old, and needed changing to my mind. With no room left for dessert, we drank hot, reliable filter coffees.

Paying for the bill was quite memorable. We intended to tip, as the waitress was an asset. However, the snappy waiter took away my partner's card and simply charged the amount without the option of adding any tip. He was quickly gone again, and so with no smiles, thank yous or good-byes, that was that in our opinion.

A potentially good restaurant, but please lose that waiter, before he loses all future trade!

what a surprise!

Finally an italian restaurant where the owners and the chefs are italians, and you can taste it.

I have been in many so called italian restaurant where the only italian thing is the name.

Good food good portions cleanliness and friendly service higly reccomended.

My mother adores your restaurant; the staff, the ambience, the management and the food. I do believe she is your greatest fan and has introduced her family and friends to the delights of Osteria Pasquino.

The food is tasty, authentic, and very reasonably priced. The house wine goes down a treat.

Very particular restaurant, many new and interesting dishes, excellent food presentation, lovely and romantic atmosphere,quality house wine and not expensive at all.I particularly liked the seafood risotto and the italian rice balls.

I will reccomend it

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, It is very tastefully decorated with a genuine italian atmosphere. The food is divine, I had the Lasagna Mamma with the mini meatballs. You can clearly tell everything is fresh and homemade, especially the Tiramisu which was heavenly, I have never tasted a Tiramisu that good before. The service was very good, we didnt have to wait long for our meals to arrive. Excellent wine, atmosphere and music. I definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys a taste of italy without actually having to travel there.
