Lunched here yesterday. Quite impressed. We had a dozen delicious oysters, a pear and Stilton salad and a steak pie. We drank mineral water and the fantastic draught Aspalls Suffolk cider. The service was prompt and friendly and the bill wasn't bad for a Belgravia gastropub. I have no hesitation recommending this place. The Sunday lunch looks good, we shall be returning to try it soon.

I was recommended this new place by my girlfriend, took my mother, and was not disappointed. Delicious food, a discreet ambiance, and attentive service are to be had at this Belgravia restaurant, right above the eponymous pub. I was delighted with my sizeable Oysters, as well as with the juicy fillet of Scottish beef. The tables are nicely spaced out, so one does not have the displeasure of unwanted eavesdropping, and the lighting is just about perfect. Two minor quibbles: the Elton John was a bit loud, and the upside down fish paintings on the wall left me somewhat puzzled. Otherwise, a fine establishment and a worthwhile addition to the flourishing gastropub scene.

I booked a table upstairs for my boyfriends birthday. The food and service were both outstanding and we all had a really good fun evening. As I live in the area I was particulary thrilled to have such a great new local - I will definately be returning for both supper and drinks.

I went with 3 others for dinner upstairs -lovely room, very well decorated. Staff were extremely friendly and very efficient. Food was amazing - delicious kidneys on toast and a steak to die for - the meat really did just melt in the mouth. Would highly recommend it and we are deffinately going back. Justin
