Bandidos

Went to Bandidos recently for my Mum's birthday - a party of about 17 people, we wanted somewhere local, and I must say that it was a enjoyable time had by all. They catered for all our needs including the kids. There was a couple of hiccup's with the food order, but that was fine. The cocktails were delicious and the food was really good, really good portions and well cooked. They brought out a slice of cake with candles for my Mum, who by this time was a bit merry on the cocktails...... There was no rush and my Mum said she had a very lovely birthday. Will definately be going there again in the very near future.

i sometimes go there with my other half and it is often quiet , which is a shame as we are always surprised how good the food actually is - the food always tastes fresh and wholesome and the lady that runs it is really nice. inexpensive, large portions - and certainly as good as many other mexicans in town.

The missus and I have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and are consistently surprised at how quiet it is. True, it's not the most authentic mexican in the world (and the mural on the wall is just daft) and the service isn't particularly quick (especially surprising considering how few people there have been in each time we've been there), but the food is pretty decent, albeit unspectacular. I have had the beef burrito each time I've been, and its presentation has always amused me (especially with the olives resting on the guacemole) but for what you pay it's not unpleasant. We've had the cocktails once or twice and they've been delicious, and the desserts are okay - it's fairly good for a mid-week night out, and exicitingly different from the Dogstar just up the road on Coldharbour Lane.
