La Rueda

I have been here a few times for lunch as it's close to work. My last vist was a week ago as other restaurants nearby were full - I can say it really was the last time I will ever eat here.

We ordered a selection of tapas and some of the dishes were not fresh at all (chicken with rice, mushrooms, chorizo in red wine) and tasted sour - to the extent that my friend actually had to spit out the chorizo. When we raised this with the waiter, he picked up each dish to smell it and then shook his head and walked away muttering that there was nothing wrong with the food. They refused to take these items off the bill (which came to £40+) and in addition to mutterings under his breath, all he could say was "there's nothing wrong with the food, what do you expect me to do?".

Revolting inedible food this time and atrocious customer service.

The food is ok but the service is a bit slow. Not sure it is because the waiters prefer people in suits than people in jeans. We did get a few dirty looks and of course when we refuse to tip because the service we got some extra spanish comments.
