I usually frequent La Rueda in Bond street, but it has since closed down. My boyfriend and i have just got back from La Rueda in Tower Hill, by far the best service we've ever had, plus I couldn't actually find the place and the waiter came all the way out to find us....it was freezing!! you don't get that every day, poor waiter.

And I couldn't stop smiling the entire night, the atmosphere was amazing and very authentic Spanish, something very rare these days (I am actually Spanish). The food was very good, albeit the octapus was a tad bit too salty and the almejas could have done with a little more salt, regardless of that the rest was delicious, and we ordered a lot! The food is great value for money especially in the westend.

They have live entertainment on fridays in true Spanish style, and people do dance which is lovely to see, wish i'd stayed longer i would've joined in!

Going to head back in a couple of weeks, and i'm not from London. Love this place, more people should go!!!

Top food, Top top service, great location, lovely terrace, huge screens, great bar area(checkout the lighting, wich changes the color trough the day) and cheap prices(if we compare around). What else you want? Smashing.

We went to La Rueda for my birthday and we absolutely loved it. To begin with the ambience is really nice. Nice big restaurant which is very centrally located. The starters, main course, drinks and the dessert- everything was just excellent. Inspite of being a vegetarian I had a good selection from the menu. We ordered tapas (veg. and non-veg.), payeya and some yummy caramel custard for dessert.

If you go to this place on a Saturday then you can even enjoy with the Falmenco dancers. The food is very decently priced and the owner makes sure everyone is well looked after. I'll definitely recommend this place to everyone and anyone looking for a good spanish meal.

La Rueda by Tower Hill is one of my favourite restaurants in London. The food there is exellent, and very inventive, with new dishes coming out all the time. On a recent lunchtime visit for tapas, I had deep fried king prawns coated in ground almonds, which were absoluetly delicious, and like nothing I had tasted before. Another favourite of mine there, are the allas de polo, which is boned and splayed chicken wings, served with a spicy dipping sauce. Other Spanish restaurants do this particular dish, but none compare with La Rueda's version.

The restaurant itself is spacious, modern, and well designed, plus there is seating outside during the summer.

The staff are friendly and very attentive, without being overpowering, and needless to say the wine list is just about perfect.

Book there on a Satuarday evening, and you will also be treated to a Flamenco floor show.

If you like the real thing, then you must like La Rueda.

No chance to get a better spanish food experience in the city. Great wine list, with no every day seen wines from spain and fearly priced. Also great atmosphere at the bar for the pint after work.An every day place for me.

I ate here a couple of weeks ago as it was near a bar we were drinking in close to where I work - bad choice. The food was terrible as was the service, the only good thing about it was the location. The tapas were totally overpriced and not at all Spanish, pizza also appeared on the menu which was a bad sign. The patatas bravas looked like they were cooked from frozen and the white bait was caked in a turkey twizlers type batter (probably also thrown in the frier straight from the freezer!) We ordered port to finish off and two of us had half a glass of sediment so they hadn't decantered it at all. Needless to say we didn't leave a tip and shan't be going back unless they reduce their prices and start serving authentic Spanish tapas.

Top for tapas, but good for the full montezuma (without revenge) too.Excellent wine choice.

Good for fast or slow dining, and good value generally.

A major plus is the natural daylight; rare in the City.
