Visited the restaurant in June of this year. Booked the table for 8-30pm for 8 people we arrived slightly late but no problem for the staff, our table was ready.

We had drinks whilst we looked at the menu, anything we didn't know the staff or owner was happy to explain. Ordered plenty of tapas and the two paella's fish and meat, first courses just kept on coming (we did order alot ), then the paella's came, menu said for two, well the portion sizes were for four, fantastic food, great service, exceptional value for money, we will be going back there hopefully in December of this year for our next party. Looking forward to it.

Went here last saturday with friends. What a great find all of the food was good and the portions generous, the lamb, prawns and particuarly the octopus were fab.

It was pricier than i thought it would be, but we did have 2 bottles of wine. The servic ewas good and like the other reviewer we noticed the owner was looking around and checking that all was ok.

All in all a terrific place cost for the 4 of us was £120, so not a cheapie, but very good

Eaten here many times now. Small with good atmosphere. Food is excellent although the specials tend to be fairly long-term. The ham is brilliant - as are the prawns, the lamb and a fleshy white fish whose name I can't remember. They sell a fantastic white rioja for about £20. Service is improving all the time - the owner is always around and he puts in a good shift. Good to see him leading by example.

Ate there last Saturday night. Booked a table for 2 for 9 o'clock and started heading down from Hertfordshire at 7 in time to have a drink in Walthamstow Village first. Took a very apologetic call explaining there'd been a mix up and there wasn't a 9 o'clock table. Luckily we could have the table until 8.45pm - a bit of a rush - but we took it.

Am I glad we did. Given the time constraints, we weren't rushed and enjoyed one of the best meals we've had for a while and certainly the best Tapas, the Pig's Cheek being the highlight!! Go try this place, a little bit of Spain.

I live in Walthamstow, and this is definitely the best restaurant in town. However, it is also one of the best Spanish restaurants in London, with excellent, dedicated and knowledgeable service staff (if sometimes rather overworked!), a good wine list and an exceptional tapas menu. I was never a big fan of Tapas until I went to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

We have been to this place four times but have only eaten here twice - why? Because they have this bizarre habit of telling you that the restaurant is full when you can see with your own eyes it is empty.

If you do manage to eat there it is lovely. The good is great, fresh and delightfully simple. My other half hates tapas but loves this place when we can actually get in.

Third visit to this tapas place and again was not disappointed or blown away. For Walthamstow its amazing, for London its above average. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Thursday but not packed.

Would like to see the chef stretch his menu a bit with some slightly more creative flavours than get served up in La Tasca.

Been told about this place for a while now and finally experienced it on Sunday... Although surprisingly empty, Angel the manager really relaxed and just said yeah no problem come in we will fit you in which was odd as it was empty. We ordered a slection of tapas to start (croquettas, jamon, manchego, bread, totilla, chorizo and more croquettes) they were all totally awesome, seriously tasty and i found it hard to falt anything. Soooo fresh and hot (not cold, tepid or tasting like its out of a freezer). I know the service is a bit quirky and laid back but the previous comments should really understand the staff ARE Spanish and thats the way they are. it gives the feel of traditional, which we liked. yes i asked for things a couple of times but hey who cares if the foods good. If u want Michelin then go elsewhere lol... Paella was lovely and fresh. the whole experience for me was really great and i can imagine the place buzzes on a Saturday. Without doubt on my list of regular places to eat 100%... I challenge anyone to find a better tapas locally or in London ...

The food here is excellent, really authentic and far better than some of the other tapas places I’ve had the misfortune of eating at in and around London. Many of the staff are Spanish, including the chef, which makes a huge difference. We’ve sampled meat, fish and vegetarian here, and it has all been really tasty at a very reasonable price – the Churos and chocolate for desert is not to be missed if it’s on the night you go.

The owner and his wife have been on a steep learning curve and did not get everything right at first – having two sittings and a slightly inflexible approach to bookings seems to have been the main complaint. But all in all this place is a bit of a gem and a great addition to Walthamstow. Well worth a visit!

I visited Orford Saloon on Friday evening, lovely restaurant, great food, good price, would have liked more help with menu as I have not been to Tapas bar before and was unsure on what to order. All that said food was lovely, arrived at 9pm however, staff hung around at around 11.15 and made us feel that they were waiting to go home despite the fact that there were several other tables still occupied. Nevertheless, we left. I was expecting a more welcoming reception after reading all the lovely reviews.
