I used to go to taste of China regularly. I am not happy with the new management.

They treat customers as if they are on conveyor belt and rip them off. Not a nice place anymore!

I went there a few days ago, was cold and was given prawn crackers, they were different and cheap and the bowl they were served it was not nice.

I could hear a women talking very loud, i turned around and it was the owner talking to her staff, she was behind the counter.

We order 3 starter dishes and 1 drink, starters were good, but I did not like the atmosphere in the restaurant and I was cold. So we just asked for the bill and paid £30 just for starters.

I was disappointed, because I wanted to go there for a few weeks and was really looking forward to it.

I also agree that the Taste of China has changed. The new owners have lowered the standards and the quality of the food is very poor. Presentation has gone out the window and as I have been a customer there for the last 12 years it is like losing an old friend.

I think that the food a few years ago was fabulous but now, since they have so many customers, the quality of some of the dishes has declined. I have also found the restaurant's prices are getting too high.

Service is generally too slow due to number of customers.

Such a brilliant place to eat!!! Its an excellent choice for both veg and non veg. It is a little expensive but the food is brilliant and the service was excellent from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is good and it is always busy so its well worth booking a table in advance. I would definately recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a good variety of food and would definately visit again.

I love this place. The food is fantastic and I've been coming here since I moved to London in Oct 2000! Excellent options for vegetarians.

It has become a little more expensive in the past year or so, but it's always full so book ahead at peak times.

TRY IT!

I decided to go back to the TASTE OF CHINA in Harrow as I really enjoyed my first visit. Food was absolutely gorgeous!

Unfortunately when I went back I noticed the prices went up quite a bit, wine glasses are children size and I even got charged £3.20 for a large soda water!

Despite that, atmosphere is still nice, service is very fast and food is quality which is the most important thing.

However, I'll probably try a new one next time...
