The Dairy Cafe is a great little cafe which offers great homemade food and drink, in a clean, modern, friendly atmosphere. It is a perfect place for anyone, young or old, to meet up on a fairly informal basis, or to stop in and enjoy the wide range of fresh snacks available. In my experience, the staff are friendly, and you feel as though you are well looked after and are intimate with them, as there is usually only one or two of them working, and the cafe is fairly quiet. You never feel as though they want to rush your order in an attempt to be able to have a rest or to deal with the next customer. My favourite choice is their milkshakes. You can choose any one of their unique, innovative and freshly made ice creams to be made into one, and they are extremely nice. At ~£3 a time, you may feel as though you are being exploited, but they really are beautiful. Flavours such as KitKat, Cookies and Cream and Banoffee are just a few of the fantastic flavours on offer.
The only problem I find is the lack of comfortable seating available, and with Caffe Nero nextdoor I think this is a problem for them. However, with space issues I don't think much can be done about it. And I don't think leather sofas would go with the whole modern, tidy image of the cafe. I think that they have managed to use the space well and made it look very neat and tidy indeed.
So, if ever you are wandering in East Sheen, London pop in and try something different instead of the usual Starbucks or Caffe Nero - you might just be pleasantly surprised!

This place serves some fantastic ice creams, there must be 20 or more flavours. My favorite in the summer was the melon sorbet and the summer fruits ice cream.
