Flat White

Yes I was indeed according to my prejudicious memory, only born yesterday for I’ve never heard of a flat white until… Well let’s be honest that we all learn about something new everyday but this particular discovery was totally gratifying for yours truly.
I wondered to myself and thought if my Italian friend, Mario from Epsom would ever step in here, I doubt so; he’s not the kind who’s prepared to acknowledge that the best coffee can and will be made by non Italian baristi.
To all the good antipodean folks, I salute you all for this exhilarating beverage. The best coffee there is in Londra, cheers Flat White.

As a Kiwi I really wanted this cafe to be fantastic but I've now had two disappointing flat whites there. Both times the coffee was lukewarm and on the last occasion the milk had an odd flavour. Beautifully presented though and the food was good. My votes still with Monmouth Coffee in Borough as London's best, but I will give Flat White another go perhaps when they're less busy. Also, despite my gripes, Flat White's coffee is still better than 99.9% of the crud that gets poured into cups around this supposedly sophisticated capital!

I've been back three times in quick succession and the rosettas are as good as you'd see anywhere.
All is forgiven.

a good coffee, not amazing though. the barista did not pour a rosetta in either my nor my friend's flat. disappointing not cause i longed for a rosetta, but rather cos rosetta requires the milk to be textured in just the way i like it. the foam was a little rigid in my cup - not how i like it.

this place a gem. London needs cafes like this- great great coffee, cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs. I recommend this little tresure to anyone!
I also like coffee at the Wet Fish Cafe in West Hampstead. Their coffee is very different from Flat White, but great!!! Because it's got more space you can enjoy a good conversation with your friends for longer. oh, and great music taste and yummy food!!!

great cafe tucked up in the heart of soho. London needs cafes of this quality, serving the perfect espresso and a lovingly made flat white with a rosetta to be envious of. The baristas have a passion for their profession and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming ....very antipodean. great place to drink or to grab a take out coffee.

With a kiwi driving the espresso machine you can't go wrong really.
These people know how to make coffee.

Simply the best in a city that spectaularly fails to serve anything like real coffee - well unless you prefer a scalding cup of hot flavoured water topped with an anaemic froth!!
Flat White is served by enthusiasts who love and care for their coffee (and clients!)- this little cafe offers a serious challenge to all the others!

Flat White has become the only place I'll go for coffee in London. The baristas actually know what they're doing for a change and take such care and pride in making their coffee. The 'flat white' coffee is an antipodean thing, nicer than a capucino, and it's so good to be able to have them here in London - it helps with the homesickness! I can't recommend this place enough.
