My job, is to recommend the best to our Guests, I am the head concierge for one of the best 5* hotels in London as well as very adventurous on trying different cuisines,

When I red the reviews, about this place, I wanted to find out to myself especially as I have been asked by so many of our regular guests about it.

I went with one of my friends last Wednesday, to have a dinner, and to find out…

As we were looking at the displayed menu on the outside, The Restaurant’s door was opened by a smiling hostess who, asked us if we have tried Lebanese food before, to cut it short, we walked inside …

The first thing we noticed, was the lovely smell of the burning incense at the door, The restaurant was more of a full House considering it was Wednesday, a cold February evening.

The décor is so much relaxing and cosy, Egyptian, Moroccan, or Lebanese, I asked the waiter; the owner toured the Middle East and North Africa and brought all what you see from all over the place Sir...

We ordered two lebanese beers & left it to the waiter’s recommendations to order the starters, cleverly we were asked about any preference of vegetarian or nuts allergy we may have…

We had 6 different mezzas, including ‘’Tabouleh’’ Kebbeh, Home made pastries and really amazing delicious Falafel, which I never tasted as such since my visit to Israel some time ago.

We chose the main course ourselves, I had the king prawns (They were more of three lobsters) than prawns, my friend had the mix grill.

We both looked at each other and wished we never had lunch that day, as the food was too much to finish.

We had to have the, mint tea to help us getting up…It came with some lovely tiny pieces of Baklava, that apparently got ‘’flown into London from Syria especially for Joury every week’’, according to the waiter’’You can not get this quality of Baklava over here’’, I must say, Even though I was so full, I could not resist,, it was a amazing.

We had to stay and finish the football game that was showing on the large screen,,,It was our ‘’London's club’’.

The bill came to £61.00.

In my honest opinion for all of what we had,

I would recommend this restaurant to every one of my Guests.

On our way out, I asked the so pleasant waiter I must say by now about the minimum charge..!!This is only when some customers order one tea only for £2.75 and spends two hours to drink it,,, I totally understand I replied.

I ordered 2 mint teas, 1 mango juice, and 1 cake and was given a bill of £16.50.

When the bill was presented to me I told to the waiter that I was amazed by the price he answered that it was suppose to be over £30.00 because there’s a minimum order of £15.00 after 6pm (ordered 1 mango juice after 6pm)which he didn’t not say, I had to guess I believe, very misleading…

waiter always come to make a further sale by asking if you wish to order again and I had to wait a lot to get my bill even though the restaurant wasn’t busy.

A part from that nice place, the tea was good but management to greedy, I would not recommend it to friends.
