I love this place, food is always excellent. Service is good, although they can get a bit slow when they are busy. Probably my only negative comment is that the wine list is a bit limited.
Thoroughly recommend it.

Went on a Saturday night and had an excellent meal. The both the moules (starter) and the confit (main) were the best examples of each I have had in a long time. This includes eating both several times in South West France this summer. It's a very cosy, romantic setting and the service was friendly. Meal for two with wine was £70 which, while not cheap, was great value for cooking of this quality. Will definitely return

We had been dying to go to Louvaine for months as it looked so sweet and inviting from the outside. We were not disappointed! The starters and mains were of a good standard, but the sweets were out of this world! The service was a little slow but only because the restaurant was so busy. We will definitely being going back.

Hearty, modern french food in bistro style surroundings. This place is a gem. Warm and inviting, friendly service and delicious good value food - especically the mid-week two course deal which would be an absolute bargain anywhere, let alone on St John's Hill.
