I live just around the corner from this restaurant, and probabally go or get a takeout once a week, and yes the food is absoloutley delicious, the service is nothing special nor is the restaurant itself but the food makes up for it except the portions are getting so small Im wondering if one day I'll end up with nothing on the plate!!! Its become a bit of a running joke between my circle of friends who live near the restaurant. We have started having to order 2 of everything and as its not that cheap it makes for a rather expensive meal! 3 prawns in a curry that costs £13.50 is not acceptable - so although I will keep on going as it is indeed addictive food - perhaps if we all complain about the size of the portions thay may start taking note!!

Went here on valentine's day and it was jam packed - as were the tables! I do hope they do not normally squeeze everyone into such tiny spaces. However, apart from this, I really enjoyed the meal. It was perhaps a little too spicy but I have not tasted better in London. The staff were run off theri feet but very polite and helpful.

I will go again.

I would not listen to any of the opinions above, they obviously have never been to a good restaurant, letalone eaten good food. It is very reasonably priced, impecable service and the food is fantastic. I wold travel across England to go there.

Sultry service, miniscule portions, lack of flavour and very much over-rated.

One curry was so spicy, it killed off any enjoyment for the rest of the meal - and not the slightest apology or regret from 'couldn't-care-less' management.

Portion sizes supplemented (ie. drowned) with too much vegetable and sauce to mask inadequate quantities.

Very pricey for what's on offer. Whoever thought you can eat here for less than £30 must have been on a severe diet or left after one course.

Not worth the journey - even if you live in Fulham.

All I can say is that the food here is absolutely superb. It is as innovative as it is classic, which should satisfy all preferences. The starters comprise of the traditional dumplings (or dim-sum), spring rolls etc, but also have things such as thai tacos which are simply fantastic. Main courses also follow the same theme, the usual curries, noodles but again there are dishes which are really interesting. Everything is very well executed. Don't expect huge portions, for me this was not an issue as everything tasted great, and I was left satisfied not bloated. The service can be slow at times which is a pity, but hopefully having the knowledge in advance might prevent you from getting too stressed if you expect it.

Overall I love this restaurant, and recommend all of you to try it but only as long as I can still get a table, (booking in advance is recommended).

This is by far the best Thai restaurant in London. The decor is smart and the atmosphere always pleasant but the main reason to go is for the outstanding food. The menu, as others have said, is much more interesting than usual Thai offerings and I would struggle to think of a dish that I have had that has not been exquisite. My wife swears by the curries but my personal favourites are the stir fried lamb with chilli and the sirloin with tamarind. Yes the service can be very dappy though is not unfriendly (and I must say its haphazard nature is not what it should be for a place of this class) but for a sensational Thai meal Sukho simply cannot be beaten.

I have been living in Fulham for some time and rarely make reservations - which is unfortunately why I have been unable to get inside Sukho Thai before.

After dining there last night I can see why it is so popular! The staff are brilliant, so friendly and accommodating. We had an exceptional meal - squid and pork to start and then beautifully cooked beef and duck, like I had never seen before, crispy yet falling off the bone. We love sticky rice deserts and I tried the thai coconut soup - absolutely delicious! For three course the bill matched and was worth it.

We will definitely go back again - I loved every minute of it - the service and experience was relaxing and fabulous. The decor is divine and I do not hesitate to give this restaurant 10 out of 10. Go, eat, enjoy and don’t forget to make a booking, especially on weekends, to get a seat!

I was amazed to see a bad review of this restaurant as I have only heard wonderful things about it. I went with high expectations and it did not disappoint. I have been to many a Thai restaurant in London and this is the first one that truly captures the ambience of Thailand. It brought me straight back to the fantastic food I ate in Thailand earlier this year. The service was good and the staff friendly and I really could not say a bad word about the restaurant. The food was just superb and I have already booked to go in again.

Having eaten in many Thai restaurants in Australia my husband and I were curious about our local one Sukho. It always seems full which was part of the problem. We were asked if we had a reservation which we rarely ever do and from then on with no reservation made to feel second class to the other diners. We were told we had to be out by 830 then although the service was prompt perhaps a little too so. We felt rushed. We ordered one starter between two and it barely touched the sides, needed a microscope. Our two mains were nice but couldn't help feeling hungry after. I ordered a dessert and then we were hit by a hefty bill of £44, twice what we would usually spend on an ordinary night out. A 12.5% service charge is stated as not optional which i'm not sure if that is legal or not, but haven't come across it before. The other diners seemed to be there nursing numerous bottles of wine, why not go to a bar for that? We were herded out pretty quick and left in a daze out on the cold street £44 less in the pocket. Wouldn't go again.

We tried this restaurant after hearing it was one of the best thai restaurants in London and on recommendation from a food critic friend. The service was indeed mixed but we had smiles a plenty from our waiter and the food was definitely very good. The servings are typically Thai (and indeed fine dining restaurant size) they are smaller than the american 'restaurant' standards but for your average sized person they are definintely filling and enough to make sure you are experiencing exquisite fine thai restaurant food (following on from one of the previous reviews) There is a standard 12.5% gratuity but the 3 times we have eaten there we have never had a problem paying it as the food has been so good. The value for money is relative to the taste of the food. Make sure you try and go early to get the best service as this place seems to be packed out on Friday and Saturday nights after 8.
