My wife, I and friends have eaten here on 4 occasions over 3 years. Each time we enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and the friendly service. We would always suggest a visit for those wanting an informal meal out, different from the traditional a pizza/pasta/chinese or curry where, for London, the food is good quality at a reasonable price.

We went yesterday for mothers day. Nice atmosphere and service.
The food was too greasy and tasteless. The bill was unnecessarily expensive.
Never again.

This place is totally fine, apart from the minor detail of the food, which is awful. I had the meat paella and have literally never seen such a deep pool of grease at the bottom of a dish (outside of Indian restaurants). It was a sludgy, greasy pool of yellow rice and the cheapest cuts of chicken, with second rate chorizo.

I had lunch with a friend at La Tasca recently. It was my first visit and I was favourably impressed. The Tapas were appetising and well chosen, the service friendly and the wine (the cheapest Prosecco on the menu) very acceptable. I shall certainly go there again.
