Turquoise Restaurant

Visited this restaurant with a friend for the first time last week and thought it was very nice. It's in a good central location with friendly service and delicious food that was reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back.

I disagree with Tim Ramsey, I believe he has got something else in his mind. We are regular customers of Turquoise and we love the food and the athmosphere in there. Making such a hush review will not change our mind I would not be put off with his silly comments.

Visited this restaurant after passing it in the street, on a spur of a moment thought... what a mistake! Very, very disappointed with most aspects. But first the good stuff - the prices weren't bad at all, and the restaurant wasn't cramped or noisy.

However, this was because my partner and I were the only customers in the restaurant all night!

It'll be no shock to you that the atmosphere was dead. Also disappointing was the food - I worry to think what it'd be like if they had to serve two tables in one night! The menu was comprehensive, but maybe just too large for such a restaurant - literally 30+ choices.

Waiting service was good, but the manager was distinctly grumpy and uninterested.

The evening wasn't a complete disaster, but as there's so many better choices nearby, I'll be making sure I avoid this restaurant in future.

I think this is the best Turkish restaurant in London. The food is excellent - always fresh and consistently tasty. The menu is really extensive and everthing I have tried is great although I keep going back to my favourites now. The staff are friendly and efficient and prices reflect really good value.

the best meze and lamb shish i ever had ....with an excelent service altough the restaurant was almost full food was on spot ....
