I give it a one star for the service.
We went out of our way to eat at Brick Lane as so many people had recommended we come here for the best Indian. What a disappointment !!!
We were asked to come in by someone standing on the footpath, the guy was friendly and not too pushy and so we walked in. The service was good but the food was absolutely not Indian. Nothing tasted genuine, nothing was spicy and one of the dishes just had no taste and I am still confused as to what it was.
Perhaps it is because we asked for an assortment which I think they call Thali. I prefer to forget the experience and next time we visit London we'll get a curry somewhere else, definitely NOT Brick Lane!

Went to this Indian with my GF and another couple, this place was appalling!! We were given poppadoms very quickly but apart from that everything else was disgustingly slow, had to wait 45mins just for our order to be taken, another 20mins for our drinks to come and an hour for our food which once it come was very disappointing, i had a chicken madras which to be fair wasnt too bad but the others had lamb bhuna, chicken dansak and a chicken pasanda which were all the worst version of these curries i have ever tasted especially the bhuna! Needless to say we not be returning!!
