Dawaat

We went to Dawat on my cousin's birthday few weeks back.

welcome was very nice, was quite busy in a high competitive area.

we were taken to the first floor,

we were the first table on the 1st floor so the first to order but once we ordered our food the restaurant started getting busy and tables started filling up and UNFORTUNATELY those tables had eaten and digested their foot by the time we got our food.

on the positive side the food was great, staffs are welcoming and polite BUT as a previous review said THE MANAGER WAS SOOOOO RUDE.

poor customer service and no smile.

after we finished eating manager kept coming up to our table expecting us to leave not very comfortable if you want to sit and have a little time to rest and catch up with friends.

The food is ok but the service is unfortunately very poor. The manager of the restaurant was extremely rude to us when politely asked to provide us with a copy of the bill. Customer service seems to be a very low priority which spoils the whole experience.

The quality of food was very ordinary (I've experienced much better on Brick Lane).

The service was friendly but slow,

would not recommend.

Outstanding friendly service, great food and incredible value. Have tried a good few indian restaurants on Brick Lane and this one is up there with the best of them. Dish not to miss is the Monkfish curry, superb!
