FishWorks (Richmond)

after reading the reviews on this website for this restuarant i decided to take my husband here for his birthday and i have to say the food was just amazing!!! so glad that i chose to go thank you all the people who rated it so well! the food was just soo fresh and simply delicious! esp their fish stew was just absolutely beautiful! never thought i would personally ever use that word to describe any food but the delicate flavours of the stew could only be decribed by it! but i have to warn you do not be fooled into thinking that it is for one person they dont say its for sharing but my goodness three people could eat it easily!! there portions are very generous! and i never knew that cod (kids fish fingers) could taste that good! the freshness cannot be beaten! and the service was so wonderful! our waitress gave us such a personalized service i was blown away! thank you at all the staff for making our evening so delightful! Also i have to say there coffee bar is so strategically placed in the center of the room so inviting that i couldnt keep my eyes off it the whole evening and it hypnotized me into ordering some coffee even though i was so full that i couldnt even look at there dessert menu but i just couldnt resist the coffee it was calling out to me. would reccommend anyone who appreciates good seafood to definately go to it! i will definately be going back here and also trying out there other branches as well! ( also i loved their off road entrance! away from traffic perfect when you are going with kids!)

we went to fish works on good friday having read several reviews that people had had disspointing meals. I would beg to differ. The service was excellent the food outstanding and everything that could possibly be done to make our visit a positive experience was done. So much fun being shown the fish you would eat before it was cooked and very accomodating staff and cheif staff when we wanted kids fish and chips ( not on the meun ). Fresh food well cooked excellent service cant wait until i go back.
